A short relaxation track to support you in releasing tension and to practice allowing yourself space to relax and to be cared for. I will welcome you into a nourishing, restful space for You; noticing and allowing any resitance that comes along with you. At the end, there is an invitation to take more time for yourself in a way that suits you. If you choose to listen to something else afterwards, one of my favourite music tracks on here is 'Floating' by James Anthony Walker, which would be a lovely follow on to this track.

Hello and welcome to some time just for you I invite you to let that soak in Taking a moment just for you Allow yourself to settle into however you've chosen to lie or sit this time Wriggle yourself into that place a little bit more Allow your body to settle in to rest a little bit more Perhaps allow yourself a little smile of enjoyment Take a breath in,

Filling your lungs with nourishing air Letting it out And again breathing in Letting it out at its own pace,

Emptying your lungs And letting your breath settle back into its own rhythm And take a moment to check in with the parts of you that may be resisting To notice the little administrator in your brain that has a to-do list and a pen and a clipboard Waiting for you to get on with the next thing And perhaps invite them to go get a cup of tea Because you have important things to do and taking this time of expansion and rest Such power in the simplicity of this action Of this simply being Notice the areas of tension in you and breathing into them Slowly With meaning,

With intention And perhaps take a loving hand or two,

Place comfort,

Love,

Support In a part of your body that needs it You may want to massage yourself or you may want to simply hold yourself with those hands And allow yourself to be held,

To be massaged Notice what it feels like And soak up that feeling You may spend a lot of your time giving to other people So allow yourself to practice receiving And receive with gratitude and intention Marinating a feeling of being cared for Marinating a feeling of being cared for Let it nourish you Allow the medicinal properties to travel through you,

To ripple out Notice how it lands with you to be cared for Again,

There may be resistance or there might be an absolute open door welcome for it Whatever your system response to it,

Notice it It's information And from that information you receive Check in with what you need now It may be to simply stay in this place Continuing to expand and rest and nourish yourself You may want to move You may want to choose You may want to move You may want to choose a music track from the app to relax to,

To rest to You may want to choose something else entirely Whatever it is,

I invite you to respond to what your body,

Your system is telling you that it needs right now In this moment And to allow yourself to receive it
