Today is a new opportunity.

Use it to give yourself what you need.

This could be rest or checking things off your list.

Tune into yourself and take this time to re-energize.

Start by finding a comfortable seat or a standing posture.

Roll your shoulders forward three times,

Then rolling them back.

Then tilt your head gently to the left and to the right,

Stretching out the neck,

Returning to the center.

As you inhale,

Reach your arms up if this is available to you,

Interlacing your fingers,

Palms pressing up to the sky.

Then on the exhale,

Bring your arms gently down to your sides.

Give yourself space to take any extra stretches that you might need in this moment.

Now that we're grounded in the body,

Let's start our meditation.

If available to you,

Walk to a window or visualize a window that you're looking out of.

What do you see?

What color is the sky?

Maybe you see a tree.

What sensations are arriving for you?

Do you feel grounded?

Do you feel like you have more energy?

What can you smell or hear?

Looking back to a comfortable seat,

Close your eyes or have a soft gaze.

Imagine your day ahead of you.

What does it look like?

What feelings come up in your body?

Visualize yourself approaching challenges with confidence and grace,

Whether things go as planned or not.

You have what it takes to handle this day with compassion and patience.

Say this mantra to yourself by placing one hand on your heart,

One hand on your stomach.

I have the power to handle things with compassion and grace.

I have the power to handle things with compassion and grace.

Taking a big inhale in,

Filling up your belly,

And exhale out the mouth.

And allow yourself to greet the rest of your day.
