Hi everyone.

Today I'll be leading us through a yoga nidra meditation.

Begin by finding a comfortable resting place for your hands.

Your eyes can be closed or soft.

You can find yourself in a shavasana laying down position or a seated position.

Take a few deep nourishing breaths in through your nose,

Holding at the top,

Then exhale.

Let your breath continue as normal,

Allowing it to nourish your body.

Now turning your awareness towards your body,

Feeling the ground beneath you.

Maybe the texture of the floor,

Of your mat,

Whatever you're laying or sitting on.

The texture of your clothes.

The weight of your hands.

Notice where you're holding tension and release that tension with your breath.

Allowing yourself to fully soften and be grounded in this space,

In this moment.

Observe any emotions that are coming up for you.

What are you carrying?

Where do you notice them in your body?

Naming without judgment,

Allowing them to be,

And releasing them,

Exhaling that emotion.

Shifting your awareness now to your thoughts.

Observe what's happening in your mind.

Is there a thought pattern that's circling?

Naming it,

Then letting it go,

Recognizing that you are not that thought pattern.

Pause in this knowing that you are more than those emotions and thoughts.

Ground yourself with your breath.

Returning to your body,

Again remembering the textures of your clothes,

The weight of your hands,

The texture of the floor,

Then returning to the space that you're in,

Any sounds or sense.

Taking your time to arrive fully and slowly open your eyes and introduce small movements back into your body.

Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,

Rocking your head side to side.

Getting yourself gratitude for taking the time for you for rest.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Namaste.
