There is a essence that animates our body that the ancients called "Prana". A universal vital life force energy. It is said that if our Prana is strong that we our health is strong. If our prana is weak then we are more proned to illness. In this meditation we aim strengthen our connection with our Prana energy.

Sit in any comfortable meditative posture.

Ensure your spine is straight.

Maintain a nice,

Long,

Straight back.

Place your hands on your knees and gently allow your eyes to close.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath.

Let's begin by centering your attention on the breath.

Just follow your breath for the next few moments.

Consciously make an effort to take in longer breaths.

With each exhale,

Get rid of any unwanted energy from your body.

Now start breathing explosively.

Inhale deeply and rapidly.

Exhale quickly and sharply.

Use your belly to control this breathing,

In and out.

Control the breathing through your abdominal region,

Pushing and pulling.

Control the breathing through your abdominal region,

Pushing and pulling your belly in and out.

This is your power breath,

Used to ignite prana within the body.

Keep breathing in and out,

Rapid,

Fast.

Feel your vital energy lift.

Feel your vibration rise.

Now exhale and hold your breath.

Feel the prana in your body.

Take in a deep inhale.

Hold your breath.

Can you sense your vital life force?

Let your breath go and follow your natural breath for the next few moments.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

With each inhale,

Visualize yourself drawing energy through your ears,

Your face and the top of your head.

When your lungs are full,

Hold your breath and feel the vital life force energy within your body.

As you feel this energy,

Bring your awareness into your mind's eye,

Between your eyebrow.

Visualize the energy you inhaled,

Forming a sphere of bright light.

Retain your breath for as long as is comfortable.

As you exhale,

Watch the light dissolve into a sparkling shower of energy that rejuvenates you.

Start with one prana breath and gradually build up to ten.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Exhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Exhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Exhale deeply through your nose,

Drawing in as much energy as possible.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Once you feel the prana increase,

Feel your life force.

When you are ready to inhale,

Inhale fully and hold the breath.

Feel the vital energy.

Now take another cycle of power breathing.

Inhale and exhale rapidly using your diaphragm.

Inhale and exhale rapidly.

Inhale and exhale rapidly.

Exhale and hold.

Surrender to the silence.

Feel your inner prana.

Stay in this feeling.

Take in a few easy breaths as we come to the end of the practice.
