Welcome. I’m Katie, a mindfulness meditation teacher & licensed therapist with specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, & mindfulness-based psychotherapy. For nearly 20 years, I’ve supported people through anxiety, trauma, burnout, health matters, and the many complexities of just being human. Through years of practice, and much learning and unlearning, I’ve come to trust something intrinsic within us all: a quiet inner support and sense of sovereignty that does not need to be built or forced, only remembered. With patience and the right tools, what is already here becomes easier to access, especially in a world that can so often pull us away from ourselves. My work weaves mindfulness meditation, somatic practices, nervous system awareness, and compassionate inquiry. It is steady and invitational, oriented toward presence rather than pressure, and toward reconnecting with your own capacity for steadiness within. No fixing or forcing required. I host a monthly community practice, Pause for Presence, and share teachings on mindfulness, embodiment, and nervous system support. I also offer self-paced courses on Insight Timer, including my most recent program, The Body Is the Way. If this resonates, you’re welcome to come as you are.
