Good morning and welcome to the Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and this is a 15 minute guided meditation intended to help you start your day feeling grounded,
Feeling connected to your heart and getting you set for a day full of positivity.
I'll guide you through this entire process.
Let's get started by finding a nice comfortable seat.
And if possible,
Sit with your spine upright.
You want to be upright but also just finding an easy position for yourself this morning.
And as we begin our meditation,
I invite you now to take a nice deep breath,
Breathing in,
Holding at the top for just a moment and just letting it all go.
As we sit here in the stillness and the silence together,
I want you to just feel what's already here,
What's alive this morning for you.
As we go inwards together.
And maybe your mind is racing and that's okay.
This time together this morning is your time.
You don't need to do anything.
Watch your thoughts like films in front of you,
Projected in front of your face and just give them permission to be.
There's nothing needed from you here.
You already do so much in your regular day.
This time is just for you to catch your breath,
To relax and to go wherever your mind,
Body and soul desires.
Taking one more deep breath now.
Finding the joy in the exhale,
Releasing a noise.
Continuing to breathe on your own.
Nice,
Easy,
Deep breaths.
Each new breath,
Bringing new energy and life into your body,
Mind and soul.
Each exhale,
Finding just a little bit more joy,
A little bit more ease and comfort.
And one percent more is progress.
Letting a nice,
Gentle softness fall upon your entire body now.
Letting it melt away any tension here,
Anything that no longer serves you here.
Starting your day with conscious awareness.
Starting your day with intentional stillness.
Starting your day radiating that eternal love that exists from inside your heart.
With each breath,
I want you to imagine that beautiful,
Radiant light that exists inside your heart.
It's being fanned like a flame.
And this flame feels warm and comforting.
As you take an easy breath in,
Watch as the light from inside you grows and grows and grows.
Allowing a gentle softness to fall upon your neck and shoulders now,
Like a warm blanket.
Feel its embrace against your back.
Opening yourself up to a little bit more joy this morning.
Feeling by feeling the sensations on your skin as this warm,
Loving blanket surrounds you.
Noticing as it softens your shoulders,
Softens your forehead.
It melts away any tension here.
It even creates a small smile on your lips.
Trying that out,
A baby smile on your lips now.
And just noticing what that feels like in your body.
Allowing yourself to radiate love and warmth.
Realizing that this love is not coming from an external source.
It's coming from inside you.
You are love.
You are loved.
And you are loved.
How does that feel?
Are you able to open yourself up to receiving love?
Taking a nice deep breath.
Imagining your heart space expanding with this breath.
Really opening up and making room for more love in your life.
I want you to bring your awareness now to the space behind you.
Can you feel the space behind your body now?
Can you see the space behind your body now?
Can you see yourself sitting in this seat in a calm,
Comforting state?
Just watch yourself.
And if your mind begins to wander or begins to race from the seat of your soul watching your body meditating,
I want you to imagine those thoughts as projections in front of your body.
Noticing they are not you.
You are not your thoughts.
You are not your emotions.
You are not even your body.
You dear artist,
You dear creator are the conscious awareness observing,
Watching,
Experiencing this thing called life.
From the seat of your soul,
From this place of higher self,
Can you see your human,
Your beautiful,
Brave,
Brilliant human sitting here?
Can you see the energy body around your human?
Are you able to find just a little bit more love and compassion for this incredible being?
If you are open and willing,
I invite you to send your human and your human's energy body some love and support for them to take with them today.
Feeling what that's like in your body,
In your heart,
Feeling the connection and support between your soul,
Your human,
Your mind and your heart.
Feeling and feeling as the energy body around your human radiates.
The love and support you have shared,
It's filling you up.
And if you will let it,
If you are ready for it,
It will carry you through your day with ease,
Comfort and joy.
As our meditation comes to an end,
We're going to integrate your conscious awareness.
We're going to integrate it into your human body again,
Taking a moment to ground,
Taking a moment to feel what it's like to bring love into your life,
To feel what it's like to soothe and comfort yourself.
Feel what it's like to be your own greatest supporter.
Wherever you went,
However far you traveled,
Whatever you felt or did not feel,
I honor and respect you for carving out a little bit of time for yourself this morning.
