Understanding Spiritual Discernment
In this session, we gain an understanding of spiritual discernment. After an introduction, Vanessa will guide you through a meditation focusing on opening one's heart and mind to the concept of discernment as a spiritual practice. We will then have a period of reflection to contemplate the role of discernment in personal faith, and understand how it differs from regular decision-making.

Listening For God’s Voice
In this session, we focus on recognizing God's voice. This session incorporates a silent meditation, focusing on quieting the mind to listen for the subtle ways God speaks (through scripture, intuition, circumstances, and the counsel of others).
Lição 3
The Role Of The Holy Spirit
In this session, we focus on understanding the guidance of the Holy Spirit. After an introduction to the topic, dive into a breath-focused meditation, envisioning the Holy Spirit moving with each breath, guiding thoughts and emotions. We will also have time to reflect on the characteristics of the Holy Spirit’s guidance - peace, clarity, and alignment with scriptural truths.

Seeking Clarity In Decision-Making
In this session, we focus on using prayer and meditation in making decisions. Here, Vanessa will guide you through a walking meditation, contemplating a current decision while being mindful of each step, symbolizing the journey toward clarity. We will also have a period of reflection to identify the feelings, thoughts, and physical sensations experienced during the meditation and what they might reveal about the decision at hand.

Confirmation And Trust
In this session, we focus on seeking confirmation and trusting in God’s plan. Vanessa will guide you through a visualization meditation, imagining oneself taking steps in a decision and observing the outcomes, looking for feelings of peace or discomfort as indicators. We will also have time to reflect on the importance of seeking God’s confirmation in decisions and trusting in His greater plan, even when the path seems uncertain.
