Today I invite you to a breath meditation practice to uplift your spirit and connect with joy through the Heart Energy Center.
This is the 33 breaths meditation.
We will breathe slowly and deeply through the seven main chakras of the body,
The two small heart centers located in the palm of our hands,
And then tap into the energy of joy from the perspective of the heart.
Many of us experience joy regularly.
Often the joy comes from the mind.
We think about joy and then we feel it.
In this practice,
We will open our energy center with 33 breaths and experience joy from our heart center.
Experiencing joy through the heart is very good for you.
It reminds you of the infinite amount of joy available to you at a moment's notice.
You will recondition your body to feel joyful more often.
This practice is short and can be done with 33,

Find a comfortable place.
You can sit or lie down.
Rest your arms and place the palm of your hands facing up.
Close your eyes and scan your body from the top of your head to your feet and relax.
We will start with three deep and slow breaths.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Place your attention on your crown chakra located on the top of your head as you take three long and deep breaths.
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your crown chakra.
You breathe in.
And you breathe out.

Place your attention on your third eye chakra located between your eyebrows.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breath coming in and out of your third eye.

Place your attention on your throat chakra located in the middle center of your neck.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breath coming in and out of your throat chakra.

Place your attention on your heart chakra located in the middle of your chest next to your heart.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine your breaths coming in and out of your heart center.

Place your attention on your solar plexus chakra located on the tip of your stomach below your breast area.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your solar plexus.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Find your pace.
Place your attention on your sacral chakra located around your belly button.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your sacral chakra.
Place your attention on your root chakra located on the base of your spine.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your root chakra.
Place your attention on your small heart chakra located on the palm of your right hand.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your small heart chakra.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Place your attention on your small heart chakra located on the palm of your left hand.
As you take three long and deep breaths,
Imagine the breaths coming in and out of your small heart chakra.
Now,
Place your attention back on your mat.
Back on your heart centered.
As you breathe in and out,
Feel the heart energy of joy slowly expanding throughout your body.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Feel the joy.
As you go about your day,
Know that you are a source of joy for yourself and others.
It may start as a quiet joy,
But the more you practice and use your breath,
Your inner joy will grow and become a light to others.
