The clarity meditation.
Hi,
This is Ana Barreto.
I'm the author of the book Women Rising Beings,
Ten Wisdoms of a Brazilian Mother for Daily Easy Flow and Conscious Living.
This meditation is in Chapter 8.
The clarity meditation is a powerful meditation.
Although this is a 15-minute meditation,
I suggest that you set aside an additional 2 to 3 hours to recover.
Ideally,
You want to do this meditation on a day when you can relax afterwards.
You will be releasing chunks of energy,
So it is a good idea to take a long shower afterwards and get a good night's sleep that evening.
Make sure your phone is turned off and that you won't be disturbed.
Get paper and pen and find a comfortable and quiet place to sit.
You will be connecting with your soul.
Select one area of your life where your attention is needed.
It can be finances,
Health,
Relationships,
Career,
Family,
Or any area that comes to mind.
Always work with one area at a time.
Close your eyes and take in three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Relax your scalp.
Relax your forehead,
Eyes,
Jaw,
And face.
Relax your neck and shoulders.
Further relax the tension in your body.
Relax your shoulders.
Further relax the tension in your shoulders.
Busy people carry a great deal of energy in this area.
Keep breathing in and out.
Relax your upper back and your lower back.
Hands and fingers.
Relax your belly and hips.
Mothers tend to hold more tension in these areas,
So let go even more.
Keep breathing in and out.
Relax your legs,
Feet,
And toes.
Now imagine a bright lavender healing and relaxing light circulating about nine inches above your head.
Imagine the slides penetrating the top of your head like a light breeze,
Removing any remaining tension in the areas of your head,
Neck,
And shoulders.
The light keeps moving down,
Releasing any unnecessary energy in your heart,
Belly,
Arms,
And legs,
Exiting through your toes.
Allowed the light to go down into the earth,
Down to the center of the planet,
Until it reaches a very heavy anchor.
Tie the light to the anchor until it's very secure.
This is your connection with Mother Earth.
Feel the nurturing energy of Earth getting larger and larger and returning to you from Earth.
Feel it moving into your feet,
Legs,
Belly,
Heart,
Neck,
And head until it exits through the top of your head and into the sky.
Place your right hand on the front center of your neck.
Think of the area you want to improve and ask out loud once and twice silently,
What is my work?
What do I want to do?
What is the work of my soul?
Keep asking the question silently until you hear an answer from your soul.
Remember to breathe.
I will be quiet for a while so you can hear the messages from your soul.
Gently open your eyes and write down the first thought you received.
Don't worry about typos and don't judge the thought.
Keep writing every thought you have.
Next,
Close your eyes again and place your right hand on the front center of your neck.
Ask out loud once and silently twice.
What negative thoughts do I have that are interfering with the desires of my soul?
Open your eyes and write the answers you received.
Ask the question as many times as needed until you feel you have the answer you are looking for.
Close your eyes and place your right hand on the front center of your neck.
Ask once out loud and two more times silently.
Where did I learn these negative thoughts?
Open your eyes and write the answers you received.
Close your eyes and place your right hand on the front center of your neck.
Ask once out loud and twice silently.
What do I need to do to let the negative thoughts go?
Open your eyes and write instructions of your soul.
Now,
Close your eyes and imagine a big balloon in front of your heart.
Fill the balloon with all the negative thoughts you discovered today,
All the negative learning from your past,
And all the voices that have influenced you and no longer serve who you are and who you want to be.
Imagine the energy leaving your body and entering the balloon.
See the balloon floating up into the sky.
Say this out loud three times.
Today,
I release these energies that no longer serve me so that they can be transformed by the universe.
I thank you for the lessons and I open my heart to love and wisdom.
Today,
I release these energies that no longer serve me so that they can be transformed by the universe.

Stay there until the balloon floats up past the Earth and the solar system,
Disappearing into space.
Open your eyes and write down anything that comes to mind.
Make a cup of tea and relax.
Let the tears fall if they come.
Crying is a sign that you are connected with your soul.
You may want to stay in silence or go for a walk outdoors.
It's good to give your body,
Mind,
And spirit an opportunity to work in unity.
The more you cry,
The more you release the pain.
Your body will recover within 8 to 10 hours.
If the pain is too strong,
Take at least 30 days before you return to do this exercise.
This is a sign that healing has started and that there are a few levels of healing still to come.
Be kind to yourself.
This is a very special time between you and your inner self.
