This is an audio if you're going through a time where you're feeling lost in life.
It's going to start with a spoken section.
Anna's going to bring you into a powerful presence practice where you get better at being here,
Where you will find it easier to be lost,
Where you will find more resourcedness and more resilience in this time of in-between.
So get comfortable,
Settle down,
And listen in.
If you're lost,
Let yourself be really lost.
If you have no idea how to do this time in your life,
Great!
I love that for you.
If we know exactly how to do all the things in our life.
There's a chance we may not be playing big enough.
There's a chance we may be staying small and static and safe.
Lost can be a really good place.
One of the truest things I've ever heard.
Is that we cannot leave from a place we haven't fully arrived in.
That seems completely true for me.
So,
If you're resisting being lost,
If you're pretending that you're fine or that it's okay,
Stop.
Acknowledge your lost.
You can't fathom it out,
That you do not know the way forward from here.
Do not try and fake it till you make it.
Simply sit here with me in the unknown.
The discomfort.
In not knowing what on earth is going on.
And get comfortable here.
I mean that literally.
Deepen your breath.
Soften your shoulders.
Fill into your body.
Maybe there's anxiousness here.
Maybe there's tightness or worry whirring around your mind.
Maybe feel agitated.
Lost can make us feel shaky.
Like we've had too much coffee maybe.
Simply sit here and notice that.
You feel lost?
And you're still sitting here.
Uncomfortable sensations in your body?
Sure.
And you're still here.
Come in a little closer to yourself in this place called lost.
Drink a little deeper of the sensations.
Because whether you like it or not.
This moment of loss is your life.
So,
Breathe a little deeper and welcome lost in.
Settle in here.
Sigh and soften.
We do not have to stay here forever and give up on our future hopes.
Sometimes.
Sometimes,
Sitting in this place of lost is a prerequisite to being found.
Our muscles get grown by grappling in this place of lost.
We finally figure out new ways when we have really dared to be lost.
Being here and lost is the way forward.
So as you sit here.
Invite in the sensations of being lost,
Knowing that you can bear to be here.
Seek to know this place deeper.
Feel the familiar feelings that are kind of uncomfortable,
And you don't want to be with them.
Sink into the semantics.
And notice that as we practice together.
You can actually bear to be with her.
Little by little bit by bit this is called titration.
We take a little of our feeling and we chomp our way through it.
So breathe in deep here.
Breathe into the feels you don't want to feel.
Daring to feel being lost means you're being true to yourself.
True to this moment.
Our ego can waffle on about how much it's all got it figured out.
Our mind likes to control and corral reality.
Yet something soulful happens when we stay here.
When we make space.
And simply see what arises.
Something powerful can happen when we throw ourselves open to the mystery.
The place of in-between is a powerful one.
If we're always doing,
There is no space for things to arise.
So if you find yourself disturbed and doubting here,
Good job!
You're daring to be with the hard feelings.
Delve in deep here this is a place of power.
For you see what is being grown here is your ability to be with yourself.
To trust in yourself.
To hold hard feelings.
And to be powerful and to be present in them.
That's a mighty thing you're doing.
You're growing your ability to be present.
And to trust that you can figure it out.
What you're growing by simply sitting here.
Is a sense of self that can sustain in the unknown.
Isn't reliant on the world around you.
Your own sense of self.
Here,
I am lost in my life.
And yet.
.
.
Powerfully present with myself.
Feel your body,
Your physical form.
Come down out of the mind and find yourself in your own flesh.
Come home to your own heart.
What you're developing here is trust.
Trust in yourself,
Trust in what is,
And trust that you can find a way forward.
You see,
My lovely,
Lost is a place of potential.
Lost is a place where things can open up.
Lost is a place where love can swing by.
So,
I want to thank you for staying in this time and for your practice today of bearing to be lost.
Of not seeking to fix it or run from it.
I'm proud of you for staying lost.
I'm proud of you for not knowing.
Proud of you for being strong enough to stay here with your scared self.
For having the strength to stay and see what happens next,
To see what opens up.
For the mysterious unknown is where the magic lies.
So thank you.
I believe in you and your ability to be with this time.
I believe that by quietening your mind,
You will find a good way through.
I believe in your ability to hold your own heart.
I trust you can do this,
Time.
You can navigate this period of unknown.
I trust that the world is backing you.
You can partner with it and that life will show you the way.
You do not have to be anxious or worried here in this place called Lost.
Dive deeply into it.
This moment is your life.
It is precious.
It is potent.
And you can change your state to be with it in a good way.
So I love that you're lost.
And I love that you're daring to be here.
And I see you in your boldness and your bravery.
And I know that you're doing a good journey through this time.
Thank you for being lost.
I trust that life is going to love you up so hard from here.
Come back and practice with me again soon.
Sending you so much love.
