Find yourself a comfortable position to sit or to lie down.
Today we don't need to improve ourselves.
We don't have to try to be more of this or less of that.
We're not here today to work on it,
To work things through,
To work things out.
You don't need to be a better you,
A different you.
Just resolve to sink into this moment,
To feel the breath entering and leaving the body,
To be with the sensations that are here,
That are now.
There is nothing to do and no other place to get to.
This moment is just what it is.
Let yourselves be just as you are.
Be that brilliant or broken.
Oh so perfect in all of your perfect imperfectness.
Let yourself inhabit your experience.
The feel of the clothing,
The surface that you are resting down in.
Let yourself embody this moment to come into the feelings of being here and being now.
Check in with yourself.
How deep are you breathing?
How are your shoulders,
Your neck?
Can you soften around your eyes,
Soften your jaw?
Take a deeper breath and drop down into your senses,
Into the sensations of being in a body right here and right now.
To be with the pleasure and sometimes the pain of being present.
It is brave to stay still in this moment,
To feel it and to face it.
We can surrender into this moment.
We don't have to figure out a way to do life,
Just to let life arise within us.
We don't have to change ourselves.
Trust that change will come in its own right time.
Trust that goodness will find you and grace will find you.
That sweetness that will come,
That things will change,
That shifts will happen in their own time.
Let yourself be just as you are,
Human,
Humble,
Happy.
Life is precious and potent and will pass us by all too quickly.
So open to it,
To this moment just as it is and just as it isn't.
Come a little closer to yourself,
To your own experience.
Let yourself be just as you are today.
To accept yourself,
To accept the feelings of the body,
The tension,
The thoughts that arise,
The urges,
The impulses.
Say yes.
Say yes to life.
You are here dear one.
This moment does matter.
There is precious potency in being present,
In staying still with yourself and extend yourself some kind thoughts for your daring,
For your willingness to sit still for these moments.
To come closer to your experience and wish yourself well for the day ahead.
Wish yourself happiness and kindness and the bravery to stay with each moment.
To stay here with life,
To inhabit and embody and maybe even enjoy your experience.
So rest here a while.
Let yourself sink and settle and enjoy and inhabit your experience.
You are not a mistake dear one.
You are precious.
You are meant to be here.
Life is seasoning you and tending to you.
Say to yourself well done.
