Hello and welcome to your returning to the rhythm of the earth practice.
This is designed to support in nourishment,
Connection,
Trust,
And belonging.
So finding your way to the ground,
To the floor,
To the earth,
Laying on your back.
And just begin by finding your breath,
Feeling how your body wants to breathe.
It might feel good to take in full inhales through the nose and sigh out the mouth on the exhale,
Breathing however your body wants to breathe.
Beginning to slow down,
Returning to the rhythm of life.
Coming back to the pace of nature,
Nowhere to get to,
Nothing to achieve,
Just on your back,
Breathing.
Letting go of what came before,
What will come after,
Inviting yourself right here,
Right now.
And letting the breath find a natural rhythm.
As you feel the air on your exposed skin,
Just beginning to tune into the felt sense of this body right here,
Right now.
And beginning to drop your awareness down into the aliveness of the body,
Noticing what physical sensations are here in your body.
Perhaps temperature,
Or movement,
Tingles,
Blank space.
Just allow the body to pull you from place to place,
Sensation to sensation.
Not trying to fix or change or make better,
Just notice.
Directly contacting the life that is right here inside of you.
And gently releasing that as you allow your awareness now to rest on the surface underneath,
On where you make contact with the support,
With the earth underneath you.
And invite your body to soften down into the earth as she comes up to meet you,
To hold you.
Allowing yourself to receive this support.
Softening your body,
Softening your face,
Your jaw,
Your chest.
Feel how the earth is already and always holding you.
Those times when it feels like you can't hold it all,
Or when it feels unbearable.
Returning to the earth that is already bearing you,
Already holding you.
Feel the heaviness as you let gravity gently soften your body into the earth,
Receiving the support from underneath.
And gently bringing the miracle of your awareness to rest on the back of your lungs,
The back of your heart.
Noticing how they touch the earth as you breathe.
And imagine the earth meeting you right there,
Letting the earth breathe with you.
Receiving on the inhale,
And on the exhale,
Softening into your belonging.
Allowing this intimate exchange between you and the earth.
Breathing with the earth.
Breathing with the rhythm of the earth.
Earth energy is simple,
Steady,
Rhythmic,
Uncomplicated,
Steady.
Feel the earth under you as you breathe.
Feeling the rhythm of the earth,
The rhythm of your heart,
The rhythm of life.
Feel how you are made of these same elements,
How you belong.
Allowing your body to return to its belonging.
It knows it is made from these elements.
It trusts its belonging.
Feeling the wisdom,
The rhythm,
The connection to earth.
To this life.
And once again allowing your awareness to rest inside the body.
Noticing what sensations are here now.
Meeting the life that is right here,
Right now.
And inviting the body to soften,
The breath to soften,
The heart to soften down into the earth.
As you rest and integrate,
Allowing this practice to absorb into your skin and sink into your bones.
Allowing your awareness to rest inside the body.
