Hello and welcome.
I'm Aspen and this is a full moon meditation to support in slowing down,
Releasing held emotions and stuck energy,
And to connect you back to your own natural rhythm and knowing.
You can do this meditation seated or laying down,
Listening to what your body desires as you begin to settle in for your practice.
Taking some easy breaths into the body,
Perhaps sighing or making some sound on the exhale.
Just beginning to let the world melt away and for you to begin to arrive right here,
Right now.
And taking a nice deep breath filling your lungs up to capacity,
Breathing into all the tight corners of your being and letting it out,
Sighing,
Making some sound,
Following any movement in the body.
Really letting go of what came before and what will come after as you begin to let the sand settle.
Softening the jaw,
The face,
The chest,
The belly,
Allowing the eyes to rest and letting your breath find its natural rhythm,
Following that wave in your body.
Noticing the quality of your breath as you float on its rhythm.
Dropping your awareness down to where you meet the earth.
Letting your body melt into the earth as she comes up to meet you.
Allowing yourself to be held.
Really letting yourself receive the support from the earth.
And opening now to the mystery of this here and now moment.
The capacity that we have to slow down and tune in,
To be with our experience.
Allowing yourself to settle into this moment.
Letting your center of gravity drop out of the field of thinking and down into the aliveness of the body.
Tuning into physical sensations in your body.
Perhaps temperature,
Maybe movement or pressure.
Just slowing down and tuning in and noticing what is alive in your body.
Connecting with yourself in this deep,
Intimate way.
And if the energy gets pulled up into the thinking,
Just become curious and kind.
As you breathe and gently drop the miracle of your attention back down into the body.
What is here?
Welcoming it all,
Softening into your edges as you slow down and plug back into you.
If something arises,
Can you allow it?
Can you let it be here without trying to fix it or change it or make it better?
Meeting yourself right here,
Right now as you breathe.
And beginning to drop your awareness down into your heart space.
Maybe even bringing a hand there as you breathe and connect into that place.
Expanding all the way to the back of your heart as you drop and tune into your heart space.
Your natural rhythm.
Imagining yourself as a great wide ocean,
Letting the waves wash and move on your shore.
Feeling how the breath moves in your heart space.
Noticing sensations,
Temperature,
Tightness.
Just dropping into what is true for you and alive in your heart as you breathe.
And just as the moon above influences the waves in the ocean,
Beginning to allow whatever energy is here,
Whatever waves are present.
Any held emotions,
Just beginning to breathe with them as you say yes and open to them.
What if you had full permission to feel?
Full permission to meet yourself right here in your heart and to feel the energy that is present.
If you notice the mind or the story,
Seeing if you can drop under the narrative and be with the energy.
Emotions are energy in motion.
So can you let these waves move as you breathe into your heart?
As you give them the attention and space that they need.
When we allow,
When we let the energy be and move,
We find more of ourselves.
So breathing into whatever is here in your heart,
Whatever is alive in your body.
Feeling held by the earth and the moon above as you feel and be and breathe.
And beginning to use your breath and your awareness to release and let go of any stuck energy,
Anything that you are holding,
Anything at all that you want to be released and let go of.
Imagining it being washed away.
Imagine the moon above shining bright cleansing light down as you free and release and let go of anything that no longer serves.
Following any intuitive movement or sound,
Letting this energy be incorporated and integrated all the way out to the edges of your body.
Letting it all go.
And as you breathe and release,
Beginning to let yourself soften even more,
Being held by the earth,
The moon,
The stars.
Softening your belly,
Letting your edges become smooth.
And bringing in some nurturing and some love.
Imagining the moonlight,
Bathing and basking your skin.
Letting the energy begin to sink into your bones.
And perhaps saying these words aloud or just letting them sink into your skin.
I am here.
I am listening.
I love you.
Breathing as you receive this nurturing,
As you receive the moonlight and the love from this world.
Feeling the rhythm of you.
Feeling the rhythm of the earth.
Feeling the rhythm of the moon.
And feeling the belonging to it all.
And as you rest here,
Giving space to deeply listen for any wisdom or guidance or desires that are longing to be heard.
And allowing whatever arises.
And you can stay here for as long as you desire.
And when you are ready,
Taking some of this connection to your wisdom and your knowing and your own rhythm with you throughout your life.
