Hello and welcome to this new day.
Take a few moments here to find a comfortable position either seated or laying down.
And just begin to feel your breath.
It might feel good to take in a deep breath through the nose and sigh it out the mouth.
Breathing here however feels good,
Allowing your breath and your body to guide you.
Breathing into this moment right here,
Right now.
Letting go of what came before and what will come after.
Breathing and beginning to allow the sand to settle.
Letting the face,
The eyes,
The jaw,
The mouth,
The chest,
The belly,
The hands.
Letting the breath find a natural,
Easy rhythm.
Noticing how it moves in the body.
The warm air passing out.
Let your body melt and soften down into the support underneath you.
Bringing your awareness to where you meet the support.
Softening and really allowing yourself to be held.
To receive this support for a few breaths.
Practicing the art of receiving.
Noticing that the earth is holding you,
That she is always holding you.
Letting the body soften into the support as you breathe.
And begin to expand your awareness into the body,
Opening to the life that is here.
What sensations are here in your body?
You might notice temperature or pressure or movement.
Without trying to change or fix or make it better,
Just noticing what is alive in my body.
What are the physical sensations?
Allowing them,
Tracking them,
Noticing.
And now gently resting the miracle of your awareness in your heart space.
Breathing into that place,
All the way to the back of your heart.
And you may want to bring your hand to your heart or simply rest your attention there.
Starting to notice what sensations are here in this space.
Breathing the heart,
Opening to the life that is right here.
Breathing into any stuckness or held energy that you might notice.
Having your capacity to be with whatever waves arise here.
Often times we hold on to energy from the day before or from our sleep and so for a few breaths here,
On the inhale contact the felt sense of what is here.
And on the exhale soften,
Release,
Return home to you.
Inhaling and meeting yourself right here,
Allowing.
And on each exhale letting it go,
Freeing yourself with each breath.
Softening the face,
The jaw,
The chest,
Letting the body melt down into the support as you tune into your heart.
Breathing to your body.
And from this place of connection,
Begin to listen to your body wisdom.
Focus inside your heart and allow an intention for your day to arise.
Letting it to appear however it does,
Images,
Sensations,
Words.
Trusting what is here.
Begin to breathe life into this intention,
Awakening it.
What sensations are here?
What does this intention evoke within you?
Nourishing this intention with your breath and awareness.
Anchoring it in your body.
And opening up to any wisdom or guidance that is just desiring to be heard.
Opening to your heart,
To your body,
If there is a message.
And beginning to let this intention and this morning practice to sink into your bones.
Allowing your body to integrate.
Letting yourself be held here by Mother Earth and Father Sky as you soften,
Meeting your new day.
