Transcript

Welcome to this autumn equinox meditation.

Taking a few moments here to find a comfortable position to sit.

Something that allows the body to relax and yet to be alive and awake.

And it might feel good to take in a deep breath through the nose.

Inside out the mouth.

Taking some time here to breathe however feels good.

Allowing the body and the breath to guide you as you come into this moment here now.

Breathing and letting go of what came before and what will come after.

Allowing the sand to settle.

Inviting the eyes to close or to be cast down as you soften the face,

The jaw,

The mouth,

The chest,

The belly.

And letting the breath find a natural rhythm.

Feeling how it moves in the body.

And bringing your awareness to where you meet the support underneath.

Really allowing yourself to be held.

To receive this support for a few breaths.

Allowing the body to soften into this support,

Trusting that the earth is holding you,

That she is always holding you.

And now gently resting the miracle of your awareness in your heart space.

Breathing into that place all the way to the back of your heart.

You might want to bring your hand to your heart or simply rest your attention there.

Finding your heart space right here,

Right now.

The autumn equinox is about harvest,

So as you breathe with your heart,

Begin to tune in to all the abundance you have received.

To acknowledge what has unfolded for you the last few months.

Allowing images,

Sensations,

Feelings to arise.

Bringing them with your breath,

Opening to life.

Imagine the heartbreak and the loss,

The challenging things.

Seeing it from a place of compassion.

Holding it with a soft,

Tender heart.

And perhaps allowing gratitude to rise in your heart for what this last season has given you.

Breathing into that felt sense in your heart,

What does it feel like?

Allowing it to expand.

This time of year is also about balance,

Equal light and dark.

So as you breathe with your heart,

Beginning to allow and feel into what perhaps desires to be let go of as you transition into this next season.

And not to push away or eradicate,

But simply to release the hold.

To set it down,

To set it free.

To allow it to let go of you.

Testing whatever arises,

Breathing with your heart,

Feeling your life from the inside out.

What would support more balance in your life?

Perhaps setting something down or perhaps stepping into something new.

And beginning to feel forward into the last few months of the year.

Where does your life force desire to flow?

What intentions arise?

Allowing images,

Sensations,

Feelings to bubble up.

Building them with your breath.

Breathing to where your heart feels drawn to,

What desires to emerge?

What do you long for?

Breathing in and allowing yourself to feel whatever arises here.

Releasing the how or the need to figure it out.

Just trusting your heart as you stay with your experience as it unfolds.

And taking a few moments here to listen deeply to your body wisdom for any messages to come through.

Opening up to your own knowing.

And gently beginning to let everything go,

To allow this practice to become integrated.

Giving yourself this time to rest,

To invite the body to soften back down into the earth.

Allowing yourself to be held as you rest.

Welcoming this next season of your life.

May it bring health,

Happiness,

Joy and everything you long for.

May it take air to meal this
