In this guided meditation,
We are going to ground ourselves and protect our energy so that we can function better in our day.
Go ahead and get into a comfortable seated position.
Allowing your body to begin to relax as you turn your attention to your breath.
Allowing your exhale to be longer than your inhale,
So that you can calm your nervous system.
Now imagine a grounding cord running from your heart down to the core of the earth.
This cord can be made from whatever material resonates with you.
As you tie it to the core,
The energy begins to flow up to your heart.
This energy from mother earth begins a natural flow that continues allowing you to feel sustained and nurtured.
It continues to fill your heart,
And when your heart is full,
This energy begins to spread throughout your entire body.
Now,
From your heart,
Take the earth energy up to the sky,
Connecting to a beautiful shining star,
Where the star shine can begin to flow down to your heart and fill your heart.
And when your heart is full,
Spread through your entire body.
See the earth energy and the star energy connect in your heart and create a bright circle of energy that spreads outside of your body.
You are now connected to earth and sky,
And radiating out this energy to those around you.
And at the same time,
Creating stability in all directions for you,
Creating a sphere of loving,
Protective energy.
Allow this energy to resource you,
Energize you,
And protect you.
Take note of how you feel right now.
Allow yourself to return to this feeling anytime throughout the day that you are feeling unbalanced.
Slowly begin to bring your attention back to the space that you are in.
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes and looking around,
Allowing yourself to acclimate.
Anytime throughout the day today that you start to feel unbalanced,
Remember the feeling of being connected to both earth and sky,
And if this isn't enough,
Come back to this exercise,
Close your eyes,
And reconnect your energy cords so that you can regain that feeling of balance and protection.
