In this meditation we calm our bodies and then our minds to allow ourselves to fall into deep sleep. Turn off the lights, jump in bed and allow yourself to find relaxation with ease. We start with a body scan and end with a visualization to calm us down. Ending with calming music.

Let's get ready to have a fantastic night's sleep.

Let's begin by focusing on getting comfortable.

Gather everything you need for the evening.

Climb into your bed.

Shut out the light and get into your favorite sleeping position.

Let's start with our feet.

Get your feet into the most comfortable position you can find for them.

Move up to your ankles.

Make sure they are comfortable.

Move up to your calves,

Finding the perfect position for them.

Allowing yourself the opportunity to move as much as needed in order to find what is the most comfortable for you.

Releasing any frustration about not finding comfort immediately.

Move to your knees.

Ensure your knees are in a comfortable position.

Move up to your thighs,

Finding the perfect position for them.

Moving up to the pelvic area,

Ensuring your pelvis,

Your hips,

Your entire midsection to be in a comfortable position.

Move up to your stomach and lower back.

Finding the right position,

Ensuring you're supported.

Moving up to your chest and upper back.

And both of your arms,

Finding the right position.

Moving up to your shoulders and neck.

Ensuring everything is in the perfect position for your spine to be in alignment.

All will be uncomfortable.

Finally moving up to your head.

If you need to readjust anything,

Do so now.

Ease yourself into this space of physical comfort.

Take a deep relaxing breath in and exhale.

Breathing in relaxation and exhaling out any stress from the day.

Breathing in and exhaling.

Now imagine a river flowing through your body.

Down the right side and up the left side,

Flowing naturally and smoothly.

Allow your breath to fall in sync with the river.

Tracing it down your right side and up your left side.

Now begin to slow the river down.

Each breath cycle slows the river.

So that what once may have been a fast flowing river,

Begins to slow to a trickle.

A nice steady rhythm.

Flowing naturally and calmly.

Taking a deep breath in and exhale.

Taking a nice deep breath in and exhale.

Now allow your body to drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.

Now let your body drift into restful sleep.
