Namaskaram,
I'm Ananya.
As you listen,
Allow the body to rest just as it is.
There is nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to change.
Simply listen and let rest come to you naturally.
Begin by arriving exactly where you are.
There is nowhere else you need to go.
Nothing else you need to do.
The night has already turned inward and you are invited to follow.
Allow the body to rest as it is.
No adjustments,
No correction.
Notice the surface beneath you,
How it receives your body fully.
You are being held without effort,
Without condition.
There is no need to remain outwardly attentive.
No need to track what is happening.
If the eyes are open,
They may soften naturally.
If the eyes are closed,
They may rest easily behind the eyelids.
Sounds may exist around you,
Some near,
Some far away.
They do not need attention.
They can arise and dissolve on their own.
The mind may still be active.
Thoughts may pass through.
This is not something to change.
Rest does not begin by controlling experience.
It begins when experience is allowed to settle.
You are not here to understand anything.
You are here to rest inwardly.
As these words reach you,
Awareness begins to turn back.
Not forcefully,
Naturally.
Now notice the natural weight of your body.
Not creating heaviness.
Simply sensing what is already present.
The head resting.
The skull supported.
Allow the head to feel heavy.
The scalp softens.
The forehead smooth.
The space behind the eyes becomes quiet.
Eyes resting deeply.
No effort behind them.
The jaw releases.
Teeth resting apart.
The tongue soft.
The throat open.
Unstrained.
The shoulders gently received by gravity.
No need to relax them.
Just allowing them to settle.
Arms resting.
Hands loose.
Fingers uncurled.
Nothing to hold.
The chest moving gently with the breath.
Breathing is happening on its own.
No guidance needed.
With each exhale,
Effort withdraws.
The belly softens.
The hips release.
The legs heavy.
The feet resting.
The whole body resting as one.
Now allow awareness to soften.
Not focusing.
Not observing.
Simply being.
There is a rest deeper than sleep.
You do not move toward it.
It reveals itself.
As effort dissolves.
Sounds feel distant.
Thoughts lose their shape.
The need to follow anything fades.
Thoughts may still appear.
They do not require engagement.
They rise and fall.
Underneath movement,
There is quiet.
Not a quiet you create.
A quiet that is already here.
You do not need to notice it.
It holds you.
The body becomes heavier.
More inward.
The nervous system settles.
When nothing is demanded.
There is nothing to hold on to now.
The words become fewer.
The spaces grow longer.
Breath becomes quieter.
The body deeply heavy.
As if merging with the night.
Thoughts thin out.
Long spaces between them.
Awareness becomes soft.
Diffuse.
No edges.
Just rest.
Being held.
Being absorbed.
There is nothing more you need to hear.
Nothing more you need to do.
You may remain here.
Or drift into sleep.
Both are natural.
The words dissolve now.
Silence remains.
Holding you.
Resting you.
