Namaskaram.
I'm Ananya.
If you're here,
You may have been holding a lot for a long time.
Responsibilities,
Expectations,
Decisions that don't seem to pause.
And even when the day ends,
The body keeps holding,
As if it can't fully put anything down.
If that feels familiar,
You're not alone.
Tonight,
You don't have to carry it.
Even for a few moments,
You are allowed to set it down.
Let yourself settle,
Lying down or sitting comfortably.
And begin to feel what is already supporting you.
The ground beneath you,
The bed holding your weight without asking anything from you.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Not changing it,
Just noticing the inhale and the exhale.
And now,
Very gently,
Let the exhale lengthen just a little.
A soft inhale and a slower,
Gentler exhale.
With each exhale,
The body begins to loosen its grip.
Notice your shoulders.
So often,
They carry more than they need to.
Let them drop,
Even slightly.
Notice your chest,
The place that keeps you going,
Even when you're tired.
Let it soften as you breathe out.
Notice your stomach,
Where tension quietly gathers,
Holding everything together without being seen.
Let it release,
Just a little.
You don't have to release everything,
Just enough to feel a small shift.
Now,
Gently bring to mind that sense of responsibility.
Not the details,
Just the feeling of it.
And notice where it lives in your body,
Without trying to change it,
Just be with it.
And now,
As you exhale,
Imagine placing that weight dang beside you.
You are not abandoning it.
You are simply not carrying it in this moment.
Again,
Another slow breath.
And as you exhale,
Set it down a little more.
Let the body feel what it's like to not hold everything,
Even if just for a moment.
This lightness is real.
You are allowed to rest without earning it.
Nothing is falling apart because you paused.
In fact,
This is where strength returns.
Stay here with this lighter feeling,
Breathing in and out slowly.
There is nothing to hold right now.
Let the body remember what it feels like to be supported.
And when you're ready,
You can return.
But for now,
Just rest.
You are allowed to set it down.
