Begin by finding any comfortable position you like and welcoming yourself into this short space.
You might rest your hands on your belly somewhere that feels grounding,
Might be your chest or your thighs and close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely and then exhale slowly through your mouth in a big sigh.
Feeling yourself releasing and landing and feeling the support you're sinking into.
As you continue to breathe deeply and naturally,
Bring your awareness to your body with pure gentle curiosity.
Just noticing how it feels to be you in this moment exactly as you are.
Without any judgment,
Just curiosity.
Notice any areas where there might be some tension or some discomfort.
And become aware also of thoughts and emotions that might be unsettling and that might be preventing you from accepting yourself and how you feel in this moment.
So when you notice them,
Just acknowledge them without trying to change anything at all.
And simply say to yourself,
In this moment I accept myself fully and completely.
Feel how your breath is sinking into your body and allow these words to sink in also.
Embracing all aspects of you and of your current experience,
Whatever it is,
Recognize that you are so worthy of love and acceptance.
Whatever you're thinking or feeling and whatever your circumstances are,
And that your worth is not dependent on your achievements or how you compare to others.
Sometimes we forget that.
And now place a hand over your heart and feel that warmth there and that gentle pressure.
And in this gesture of care and self-compassion,
Let these words flow inward as you hear them.
May I be kind to myself.
May I forgive myself for any perceived shortcomings.
May I recognize always my own inherent goodness in every moment.
Just take another breath in,
Filling with the light,
And let that light nurture every cell with compassion.
And as you exhale,
Just feel yourself letting go of self-judgment and criticism.
It feels good to release the need to be perfect or meet certain expectations and to come back to your innate wholeness.
As you reaffirm your commitment to self-love and acceptance,
When you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and carry this sense with you throughout your day.
Remembering how deserving you are of this,
Exactly as you are in any moment.
