Precious,
Unique soul that you are,
I invite you to begin this time by acknowledging that you are intrinsically kind and loving and you know that about yourself deep down at your core.
Just spend a moment really recognizing that and letting these words land.
At your core you are intrinsically,
Innately kind and loving and you know that.
You know that you spread your kindness outwards in many directions and as much as you can even on difficult days,
Even when you have limited capacity or energy,
You are kind to others in small ways and sometimes in bigger ways.
You have this capability,
You don't have to learn it but what you might sometimes forget to do or find hard to do is direct that kindness inwards and that can take practice.
So by offering yourself this short space of time you're offering yourself a glorious opportunity to benefit from your own loving kindness and feel it amplified inside of you and know that that will have a ripple effect on everything and everyone around you.
So let's begin.
Just gently coming into presence,
Feel yourself land and begin to take some longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths for yourself,
With yourself.
Let your breath weaving inside your body guide you home.
You might take your hands to your body so you can feel yourself being breathed home and that with each breath in there is a filling up and a sense of receiving from life and with each breath out a sense of offering something of yourself back into life.
This is a balance of energy inside of you in every moment,
In every cycle of breath,
That breathing in you take in life and all its energies.
Breathing out you offer something back and you can feel that movement underneath your hands making that connection with your body and beginning to really have the intention of kindness and self-kindness that you know you have the capacity for because it flows through you naturally,
Because kindness is in your bones and perhaps to awaken that feeling you might remember a time when you helped someone out or simply sat and listened to them or offered them a hug.
Some small act of kindness perhaps or maybe something bigger.
Imagine that person is looking at you now with so much gratitude,
Showing you with their gaze and the expression on their face how your kindness has helped them and moved them.
Maybe you can remember some words they said to express that.
Take your time.
Begin to visualize their gaze,
Hear their words and feel their appreciation for your kindness and what it meant to them or what it means to them if it's ongoing and connect to your heart.
How does your heart feel inside your chest as you feel the gaze and hear the words?
Any energy and appreciation coming through to you from this person?
Maybe you feel your chest is opening up a little,
A little bit more.
Maybe you feel an expansion there like you're taking in more air,
More light,
More love.
Receiving,
Receiving the benefits of your own kindness that it's helped someone and changed things for them and they're so grateful.
Keep feeling into your heart,
Moving inside your chest.
What else is there?
What else are you feeling?
What sensations?
There could be a warmth spreading or a feeling of light or tingling and sparkling,
Some kind of a charge.
Affirm to yourself,
I am receiving kindness.
It's rippling out and it's rippling back in.
This movement of giving and receiving that is an energetic movement of life.
I am receiving my kindness,
Taking it in,
Taking it into your body,
Feeling it expand inside of you,
Warming you up on the inside.
I am receiving my kindness.
Let it bless you.
Let it bless your body.
Let it bless your mind.
Let it bless all the parts of you that are longing for kindness.
Right here,
Right now,
The blessing is flowing in and with every breath you take,
You're amplifying the blessing.
Maybe take a hand to your belly,
The other hand on your heart to feel that.
Feel how when you breathe in,
Your hands lift up.
There's a filling underneath them.
And then let your exhalation naturally release and empty,
Washing away stress or past hurts,
When maybe there wasn't enough kindness coming in.
Breathing in,
I take in more kindness,
More love,
More appreciation.
Let it fill you.
And breathing out,
I wash away the stress,
The tightness from when I haven't felt kindness in my body.
Breathing in,
I heal with kindness.
Breathing out,
I heal and release.
Letting go of the past,
Of any shame,
Of any feelings of not being able to feel in touch with kindness.
Now,
In the present,
Feel your body moving with this flow.
What are some words that your body or parts of you might like to hear right now,
That are kind words?
Maybe there's something you've been struggling with,
A thought or a feeling.
Connecting to this flow of kindness,
That you can feel warming your body and the openings in your being,
Now that some of this excess stress has been washed away.
What are some kind words you can offer any parts which may be struggling?
Just as you offer kind words to people who come to you with their struggles.
You know you have words,
Say them to yourself now.
As you breathe with this flow of kindness,
You might whisper those words into the places inside of you that are longing to hear them.
Deep,
Deep down into your body.
And now feeling inside your body,
Your body responding.
Knowing that all the pieces of you gathering into this flow of kindness,
Are saying thank you and that you've really helped them feel better.
And there's a flow of gratitude and appreciation also coming your way.
Right inside you.
Enjoy that feeling.
It is your soul reunion.
Your heart settling back into your body,
Into the flow of kindness,
Where it belongs.
And many parts of you are healing because of this.
And you did this for yourself.
And now connecting again to your inhalation as a filling up,
A taking in from all the energies of life.
And your exhalation as an offering back into life.
Spend a few breaths feeling that kindness that is amplified inside of you.
Moving out into the world.
Touching other people's lives.
With that exhalation,
A flow of kindness touching every space,
Every atom,
Every molecule of air.
Moving directly into the space around you and then beyond.
Touching all the space of the world.
Remembering that kindness has no limit and the more we take it in,
The more we have to offer out infinitely.
And just resting in a couple of breaths with that knowing,
That wisdom of kindness.
And now sense into your body and simply feel how you feel.
You might feel a smile rising up through your body,
From your pelvis,
Through your heart,
All the way into your face,
Turning up the corners of your mouth.
Smile to yourself.
Bless your smiling body.
Honor yourself for giving yourself this magic of kindness and amplifying it for the whole world.
And when you're ready,
Move with kindness back into your day.
