Welcome to this space and welcome yourself in,

Begin to notice in your body now,
The places where you feel safe and supported.
Your body's connection to the surface beneath you.
Notice the points of contact,
Your feet,
Your legs,
Your sitting bones,
Your back.
Can you give yourself a little more to the natural grace of gravity that's caressing your body and bringing you down to earth?
Take a big breath in through your nose and let it go from your mouth.
Take a deep breath.
Feel yourself landing and how it feels good to land.
It's what your body is designed to do,
To land and to connect and to take its space.
It's happening naturally,
Just feel it happening.
And now take a moment just to notice that you are here.
Perhaps place your hands on your belly and take a slow,
Deep breath and feel it fill your belly and then release it until there is no breath left.
And you might like to keep your hands there on your belly and really feel how your breath is breathing your body fully,
Naturally,
Deeply.
And that you are here in your body,
Breathing and taking your space.
And imagine that with each breath,
You are sending roots from your body down into the earth.
Like the roots of a tree going deep and spreading in all directions securely.
You are anchored and safe from your innermost roots.
The earth is holding you.
And now as you really take this space for yourself,
Take a moment to thank your body for being here.
And let it sink in that you don't need to do anything here,
But receive.
Be kind to yourself.
What if there is a part of you that sees how much you give,
Sees how much you give to your work,
To your loved ones,
To all the demands of life.
A part that understands how easy it is to pour from an empty cup and to tend to everyone else while your own needs go unheard.
Drop your awareness down into your chest now,
Where your lungs fill and empty.
The vessel for your heart inside your chest.
And take your hand to your heart and breathe there.
Can you feel your breath flowing in every part of your chest,
Front,
Back,
Right side,
Left side,
Top and bottom.
Can you feel your steady heartbeat always with you,
The part that remains in touch with you in the midst of all of your experience.
What is your heart saying now?
What if that part of you is speaking in a quiet voice to you right now,
Offering you a different way to meet yourself in life.
Guiding you to what you truly need,
Not what you think you need,
Not what worked for someone else,
Not what you've been told you should need or not need,
But what your body and heart are truly asking for you to have right now.
Stay steady with your breath,
Breathing in your heart,
Feeling your connection to the earth.
What if that wise inner part of you is always offering the right guidance?
It can help you.
It can heal you.
Invite yourself in this moment to bring this part more online,
More present.
Whatever else is going on,
Acknowledge this part of you is real.
This part of you knows that you are fundamentally whole,
That you are safe,
That you are capable,
That you are loved,
Without needing to prove it.
Just recognising and allowing yourself to feel that into your depths.
And with just a couple more moments here,
Why not give yourself a hug,
Wrap your arms around yourself.
Feel what it's like to hold yourself,
To be in your own safe container.
And then stretch up,
Opening up to possibility,
To different ways,
To a new beginning.
And take a big breath in to all of that,
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself land back in your body and your space.
