Fall asleep in a good mood, by drifting off to questions that bring peace, love, joy and kindness to the surface and wash away any troubles. A sleep meditation with a difference. It's likely that the gentle, soft voice and the recognition of goodness that come from your own being will have you drifting off well before the track is finished - and that's a good result!

Hello,

How are you?

As you drift off to sleep tonight,

You're going to hear me asking some questions.

They don't require any deep thinking.

They're comforting questions that hopefully will bring peace and gratitude and a smile to your body as you drift into a peaceful sleep.

So just go with what pops into your head.

And if you should drift away before I finished asking the questions,

Well,

That's perfect too.

Question number one.

What is one thing you are grateful for today?

One thing,

Perhaps from today,

That's made you grateful?

That you can carry into sleep and even into tomorrow?

Question number two.

Is there a place that you can think about or describe where you always feel safe and at home,

Peaceful in your spirit?

Question number three.

Was there anything today that made you smile?

Question number four.

Was there anything today that felt delightful that you noticed?

Anything you noticed that was beautiful?

Question number five.

Are you beginning to feel your muscles and bones soften and release in your cozy bed?

Question number six.

Who,

Near or far,

Holds a warm place in your heart?

Can you feel that warmth in your chest right now softening through your heart,

Warming your whole body lovingly?

Question number seven.

If you could be listening to any gentle sound right now,

What might it be?

Question number eight.

What is a piece of wisdom that's carried you through life?

Can you recall one or feel one in your body?

How beautiful.

Question number nine.

What is one small act of kindness that you have offered somebody recently?

Can you feel your heart warming with your own inspiration?

Your own self-gratitude and self-happiness,

Remembering that you have offered kindness in some small way just recently?

And how that's something you do.

Question number 10.

Is there a place in nature that you love even just thinking about it now that brings you peace and happiness?

Maybe you can see that place or feel it even,

Its atmosphere.

Question number 11.

Is your head feeling nice and heavy on your soft pillow?

Are your bones giving themselves to the support of your soft,

Soft mattress?

Question number 12.

What is in your life today that once you wished for?

Question number 13.

What is something in your life that you are looking forward to?

Question number 14.

Can you remember a time when things worked out far better than you had expected or envisaged?

Question number 15.

Where in your body do you feel most at ease right now?

Question number 16.

Where in your body,

Which parts feel most supported right now?

Just relaxing,

Relaxing right where you are.

Question number 17.

What place in the world most feels like home to you?

Question number 18.

Are there people in the world who feel like home to you?

Question number 19.

Can you recall a moment of laughter or lightness that you enjoyed recently?

Question number 20.

Where in your body now are you feeling deep,

Deep relaxation and pleasure?

Question 21.

What is something about yourself that you feel quietly proud of?

Question number 22.

Is there a color that makes you feel calm?

Which color is it?

Question number 23.

Can you perhaps feel yourself sinking a little deeper into your bed?

Can you feel your body sinking a little deeper towards sleep?

I hope you're starting to feel at ease and relaxed.

Just allowing your body to drift,

Your mind to drift,

Your whole being to give everything into that drifty,

Floaty,

Yet deeply supported feeling.

Maybe you're feeling how relaxed your shoulders are,

Dropping down into your bed,

How your breath is slow,

Releasing each exhale,

Helping you feel relaxed.

Do you feel nice and safe and cozy and at ease?

Can you imagine that you are laying down in the most perfect space for you right now?

A space that feels so welcoming,

Safe,

Peaceful and loving.

And your body is so comfortable.

You have lovely sheets,

Your pillow,

Maybe your blanket or quilt.

Everything is perfect.

Are you ready now to drift away into a beautiful,

Restful sleep?

And when you wake,

Just feel so good in your body and refreshed.

Good night,

Precious soul.
