Hi everyone,
My name is Catherine and let's meditate.
Come into a comfortable seated position.
To step one of meditation,
Find a seat and then focus and then be still.
Find stillness.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And today's meditation is on your own path and growth.
And begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice each inhale and exhale allowing your attention to focus here on your breath.
As you breathe,
Begin to imagine a path.
So in your mind's eye,
Imagine a path,
Your path.
This path can be made of anything,
Perhaps bricks or dirt or flowers.
It's your path and can be made of anything.
Notice how your path feels on your feet.
You keep your awareness and your attention and you focus on how your path feels on your feet as it offers you strength and guidance.
Begin to travel along your path.
And as you travel along your path,
Stay aware,
Stay awake to your surroundings.
What do you see?
What is behind you?
Where are you headed?
Now with each step you take,
Notice what's right in front of you.
Where is your path taking you?
Allow yourself to be fully present with what's on your path right now.
Honor your path exactly as it is with no judgment,
Doubts.
Don't try to fix your path.
Honor your path exactly as it is.
Your path is what has brought you to this present moment.
Stay on your path.
Notice and honor your path as it is.
Now what is your experience when you focus on your growth and stay on your path?
And throughout the week or throughout the day,
Notice time when you are focused on your own path and growth.
And I'm also inviting you to notice time you may compare your path and growth to others.
And notice the experience.
And anytime you catch yourself comparing your path and your growth to others,
Invite yourself to come back to your own path and honoring your path as it is.
Honoring your growth exactly as it is.
Slowly start to bring your attention to your breath,
Your focus to your inhale and to your exhale,
Inviting yourself back to your breath.
Together we breathe in,
Together we breathe out,
Together we inhale,
Together we exhale.
One more time this time inhale reach both hands up,
Exhale hands to your heart center.
