Hello SSS Tribe family.
My name is Bruce Mbugwa and let's meditate together.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can sit down with your legs crossed or whatever works for you.
Make sure your spine is erect and your shoulders relaxed.
At this point,
I invite you to close your eyes or keep them open but soften your gaze,
Keeping it at one point.
The intention of today's meditation is to let go,
To be fully present to what is as it is.
As you settle into this practice,
Start to bring your awareness completely into the present.
Recognize all the tools around you that you can use to stay in this moment.
You can observe your breath or listen to all the noises and sensations that are surrounding you.
You can even use the sound of my voice.
Find whatever tool works best for you and use it.
As you observe,
Different thoughts and feelings will start to arise.
Observe those too.
Do not be particularly selective and say,
I should think this or I shouldn't think that.
For the duration of this meditation,
I want you to let go of the idea of controlling your thoughts.
Let them be.
Simply become an observer of these thoughts and realize that there are no wrong feelings or thoughts.
Acknowledge the impermanence of your thoughts.
Realize that they are just flowing by like a stream in a river.
Let go.
Let go.
Let go.
Let go of who you think you should be and come into who you are in this moment.
Good thoughts,
Bad thoughts,
They are all a part of you.
Accept them completely and wholly.
Continue to keep your awareness on anything that you chose to keep you present.
Let's finish by declaring total acceptance of who we are and acknowledging it with one deep,
Deep breath.
Inhale.
Release.
