Welcome to this self-love meditation.
This is your time,
A moment to reconnect with yourself,
Nurture your heart and embrace the love that already exists within you.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and allow your hands to rest softly on your lap or by your sides.
Take a slow deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it for a moment and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Feel your body begin to relax.
Let's do that two more times.
Breathing in love and exhaling an attention.
Once more,
Breathe in peace and breathe out any stress from the day.
Now gently bring your attention to the top of your head.
Feel a sense of warmth and relaxation begin to flow down over your forehead,
Your eyes and your cheeks.
Soften your jaw,
Releasing any tightness you might be holding there.
Let this wave of warmth move down your neck and into your shoulders.
With each exhale feel your shoulders become heavier as they release any burdens you've been carrying.
Now shift your awareness to the chest and your heart space.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
With every inhale imagine you are breathing in love and compassion.
With every exhale let go of self-criticism and doubt.
Feel this warmth flowing down your arms into your hands and fingers,
Filling them with softness and ease.
Move your focus to your belly,
Notice if you're holding any tension there.
Breathe in deeply,
Filling your belly with breath and on the exhale feel it soften and relax.
Let this wave of relaxation continue down through your hips,
Thighs and knees.
Feel a sense of grounding and stability here.
Let yourself be fully supported by the surface beneath you.
Now bring your attention to your calves,
Ankles and feet.
With every breath feel any remaining tension melt away,
Flowing out through the soles of your feet and into the earth.
Your entire body is now relaxed,
Grounded and at ease.
Now bring your attention back to your heart space.
Visualize a soft,
Warm light glowing there.
It might be a soft pink,
A golden light or any color that feels loving and comforting to you.
With each inhale feel this light grow stronger,
Filling your chest with warmth and love.
With each exhale feel this loving energy spread through your entire body,
Into your arms,
Your legs and every cell of your being.
This light represents self-love.
It is always within you.
It is always accessible.
Now,
Silently repeat these affirmations to yourself.
You can repeat them in your mind or if you feel comfortable,
Say them softly aloud.
I am worthy of love exactly as I am.
I honor and accept every part of myself.
I release self-doubt and welcome self-compassion.
I am proud of who I am and all that I am becoming.
I deserve to be kind to myself.
Notice how each affirmation feels in your body.
If any resistance arises,
That's okay.
Just observe it with kindness,
Like you would for a friend.
With each breath feel the love and compassion within you growing stronger.
This love is always present.
It's yours.
It belongs to you.
Take a moment to breathe deeply and sit with this feeling of love.
As we begin to close this meditation,
Gently bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Notice any sensations,
The weight of your body,
The surface supporting you and the feeling of the air on your skin.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders or stretch your arms,
Bringing small movements back into your body.
Take one more slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale it fully,
Releasing any remaining tension.
When you're ready,
Softly blink your eyes open,
Returning to the present moment.
Carry this sense of self-love with you throughout the day.
And remember,
You are worthy.
You are loved.
And you are enough,
Exactly as you are.
Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up today.
