This is a short, calming wind-down you can return to whenever your body feels tired but your mind hasn’t quite switched off yet. You don’t need to fall asleep during this practice. You don’t need to do it “right.” Simply allowing yourself a few minutes of rest is enough. You can listen while lying in bed, during a night waking, or anytime you want to let your nervous system know that it’s okay to slow down and rest. If this helped you wind down, you might also enjoy Sleep Practice here on Insight Timer. For deeper support with falling and staying asleep, my course Sleep Reset offers a gentle, step-by-step approach to more restful nights 🤍

Transcript

Hi love.

Let your body settle.

Breathe in slowly through your nose.

And let the exhale be long and easy.

Imagine the whole day melting off your shoulders.

Feel your jaw releasing,

Your belly loosening,

Your mind unclenching.

Let yourself land in this moment.

Nothing else needed.

Tell your body quietly,

It's okay to rest now.

Take one more slow breath in.

And soften everything on the way out.

You're safe to unwind.
