Today I am going to sit with you and ask you to take a few minutes to think about what we are thankful for in our lives.
I want you to get comfortable and you can sit with your legs crossed or even lay down and relax.
So choose your position and then we will get started.
You can close your eyes,
But only if you want.
It's okay to leave them open too.
Now I want you to take a deep breath in and then breathe out.
Now go ahead and breathe in as big as you can and then out.
And feel free to make it really loud and really silly.
Now one more time,
As big as you can and then breathe it out.
So now I want you to think about one thing that you are grateful for today.
It could be anything.
Maybe you are grateful for your family or your friends or even your favorite toy.
Maybe you ate a yummy meal or you received a really good snack today.
You can even think this in your head or if you want you can say it out loud.
So as you are thinking about what you are grateful for,
I want you to place your hand on your heart and take a few more deep breaths.
And as you are taking these deep breaths,
Imagine a warm glowing light surrounding you.
Kind of like the sun.
And then also imagine a giant bubble just hugging your body.
And this light is filled with love and positivity that's part of your life every single day.
It's like a big bright bubble of joy.
Can you see this bubble?
Can you feel how warm it is?
So as you imagine this bubble and let it begin to fill you with happiness,
I want you to repeat after me with what I'm saying.
I am grateful for the good things in my life.
Now repeat it.
I am grateful for all the good things in my life.
I am surrounded by love and joy.
Now repeat.
I am surrounded by love and joy.
I am thankful for all that I have.
And now repeat that.
I am thankful for all that I have.
So remember,
The more you say thank you,
The more happiness you'll find in your life.
So remember to say thank you every day for at least one thing.

You can go ahead and open them.
