Allowing yourself to settle down into a position that works for you.
Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.
And again,
Breathing in and exhale slowly.
Allow yourself to settle into this moment.
Letting go of any holding and surrender into this moment.
I invite you now to breathe in for four,
Hold for two and breathe out for four.
Inhale hold,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Inhale,
Exhale.
And choose if you wish to drop that breath now,
Or returning to your own pace or continuing.
Drawing your awareness to your top of the head,
Down to the forehead,
To the space in between your eyebrows,
Eyes and eyelids.
And invite the tiny muscles around the eyes to completely soften.
Resting the body,
Arms heavy,
And legs relaxed.
And now begin to imagine that you are in a large space.
It's warm here and you're safe.
The walls are white,
The floor and the ceiling is white.
You begin to see a door form in the room.
And you slowly walk towards it.
As you do so,
Notice the shape,
Size and the color.
Noticing what it's made of and what the door handle looks like.
And reach your hand forward.
Begin to open the door and step through it.
As you close the door behind you,
You find yourself in the most beautiful outdoor open space.
A huge expanse of meadow.
The colors here are vibrant.
The grass is emerald green.
And pastel colored wildflowers are dotted around the meadow.
Butterflies dance in the light breeze.
And you gaze out at the bluest of skies.
The sun's golden rays warm your skin.
You take a breath in to inhale the scent of flowers.
And as you breathe out,
You notice how fresh and clean the air is in this magical meadow.
This space is yours.
No one else is here.
You take in of the beauty of the nature around you.
And one particular brilliant blue butterfly flutters in front of you.
As you watch,
It begins to fly toward a small path in the meadow.
You follow the butterfly.
As it leads you down the path,
You start to approach a woodland with tall pine trees and ancient oaks.
You're aware of the earthy scent of the forest.
Sunlight flickers through the tall trees as the branches sway.
You continue to follow the butterfly with a feeling you are heading somewhere special.
You hear the sound of water.
And each step that you take,
The sound becomes louder.
You think this water must be more than just a stream.
The sound is so loud now.
And as you approach a huge clearing in the woods,
You begin to see the most breathtaking waterfall.
Clear water is rushing down this waterfall.
You're amazed by its beauty.
And you decide to take off your shoes and socks and dip your toes into the clear water.
It's the most perfect temperature for you.
This waterfall has the ability to deeply cleanse your whole being.
Releasing anything you want to let go of.
This water has cleansing and healing powers.
This water cleanses and releases any tension or tightness in the body.
Any physical issues that you have,
You can invite to be released here.
Perhaps you begin to feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
Allowing the waterfall now to cleanse and clear your emotional body.
Water on your feet carries away any stuck or stagnant emotions you are ready to let go of.
These are released through the body down to the feet.
Could be anything from sadness to grief.
Fear to anger.
The water washes away these emotions from your body.
Cleansing,
Purifying.
Any stored emotions,
Giving the water permission to carry these away if you're ready to release them.
If any emotions arise,
That's okay.
If you feel overwhelmed,
Connect back with your breath.
Allow the water to carry away any emotions so they can be recycled and transformed into something new and beautiful.
Gaze at the water,
Which has created a mini rainbow.
Butterflies and hummingbirds play around the water's edge.
You invite now the waterfall to cleanse your mental body.
To wash away any negative thought patterns.
Any repetitive or unhelpful thoughts or beliefs that you've carried around with you for far too long.
You decide here whether you're going to take off your clothes as you have your swimsuit underneath.
Decide if you're actually going to go under the waterfall.
Wherever you are,
Allow the water to deeply cleanse you.
Release any old,
Unhelpful thoughts.
Allow them to be washed away from you.
Feeling grateful for this healing waterfall.
You make your way back into the grassy area.
Take a moment here to allow the sun's rays to naturally dry your body.
The sun recharges you.
Like a battery charging up.
Perhaps you feel more vibrant,
More alive now.
Begin to allow this image to fade.
Feeling safe in your body and your mind.
