Welcome to this meditation to help you deal with emotional overwhelm.

In this meditation,

I invite you to connect gently to your breath.

Settling down onto a chair,

Sofa or bed,

Whichever works for you.

Take a deep breath in and a long slow breath out.

Breathing in peace and calm and breathing out or letting go.

Deep conscious breaths and imagine that warm breath as you breathe out is going down your spine all the way down to your feet and as you breathe in the breath is rising back up the body up to the top of the head.

Breathing out releasing breathing in taking in fresh energy into the body.

Allowing the body to rest down and observe any muscles that want to hold themselves up and invite them to relax and to let go into the ever-present support of Mother Earth beneath you.

Know you are safe and you are held.

Inviting any tension of the body to release down down into Mother Earth flowing far away from you as you stay here present with your breath.

I invite you to bring a light touch to the heart center at the center of the chest.

Feel the warmth in the weight of your hand and the warmth of the sun connecting with the steadiness that is always here with you.

Bringing a smile to your face and sending gratitude to yourself for taking the time for you today.

Imagine the breath traveling through all the twists and turns of the mind cleansing and balancing and carrying away any thoughts of that you're not good enough you're not doing enough and inviting enoughness and inviting acceptance.

Breath in and out breath in and out and when you're ready inviting movement back into the body moving the fingers and the toes and slowly opening your eyes.
