My name is Sandhya and I'm so grateful you're here.
This Higher Self Meditation is designed to help you connect with the deepest,
Wisest part of you.
The part that always knows you are safe,
Loved and whole.
Finding yourself a position of comfort and ease.
And knowing if your mind wanders,
That's completely natural.
Just notice the mind wandering and then come back to my breath or my voice.
This is your time to release,
To soften.
Let's begin by taking three nourishing breaths.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
On the next inhale,
Mentally say,
I'm safe.
And exhale,
Releasing any tension.
On the third inhale,
Mentally say,
I am supportive.
And exhale in your own time,
Releasing.
Becoming aware of your body,
The feet,
Of the ankles,
Of the toes,
Of the leg,
And feeling the weight of the legs.
Noticing anything touching the legs right now.
Imagine your legs sinking deeper and deeper down into the surface beneath you.
And breath in.
Do away.
Aware of the torso and the shoulders and the weight of the arms.
Allow the arms to feel heavy,
Resting deeper and deeper down,
And softening.
Being aware of your hands,
Fingers,
And thumbs.
Noticing any sensations in the hands.
Perhaps you can notice the temperature or anything the hands are touching.
Or perhaps no sensations.
Now imagine you are floating,
Lifting up.
As though you are resting on a soft cloud or being held by water.
And you float up into a vast,
Gentle,
Safe space.
And here you're surrounded by light.
You may notice a sense of color shimmering softly.
Or stillness that feels endless and safe.
You feel held here.
Every part of your body is cradled in comfort.
And each breath you take,
You feel carried more and more.
Deeper and deeper into a space where ease and calm support you.
Silently affirm,
I am safe to rest in this moment.
And I am expanding into spacious awareness.
And as you open here in this safe place,
You connect with your wise,
Loving,
Familiar self,
Your higher self.
Ask your higher self if they have any messages for you.
See if anything comes.
Your higher self has been waiting for you.
To come to this moment where you can connect and learn.
Open yourself up to anything you need to learn.
From your higher self and listen.
Listen with an open mind.
Allowing anything into your mind that needs to present itself.
Only the highest and purest messages will be given to you.
The message might be in the form of words.
Or maybe you have a feeling.
Whatever your experience is,
Is perfectly fine.
This is your intuition.
Allow your intuition to speak to you.
As you spend this time together,
You are completely rejuvenated.
Your mind automatically sorts through any problems with ease and grace.
Allow yourself,
If it feels right,
To merge fully and completely with your higher self.
Allowing you to access your intuition during every moment of your human life.
You are becoming a powerful force.
You are now one with your intuition.
Rest and experience the sensations of this wholeness.
And allow your mind now to float and drift.
Allow your imagination to take you to a beautiful beach,
Where you're walking through the warm white sand.
Feel soft under your feet.
You can hear the sound of the waves.
The sound of small waves lapping against the shore.
You look down and see your own footprints.
You notice the temperature of the weather.
And perhaps the sun against your skin.
Or a nice breeze passing by.
As you walk a little further,
You see a comfortable chair.
You rest here and gaze out into the beautiful blue ocean.
You notice how the horizon in the ocean meets the sky.
Here you release anything you're holding on to.
There's no demands here.
Nowhere to be.
Just this moment unfolding.
Each breath is like a gentle wave flowing in and out.
Carrying you deeper and deeper into comfort.
With each exhale,
It may feel as though you're sinking slightly more.
Safely held.
Resting deeper into calm.
Resting here.
Now bring your awareness back to your body,
Allowing the image of the beach to gently fade.
Aware of the heaviness of your body.
Real breath.
And begin to deepen your breath.
And gently move the fingers and the toes and opening your eyes.
