Work stress and ADHD overwhelm can make your mind feel like it has 30 tabs open at once. This 3 minute reset is designed to calm the nervous system, soften any work related pressure, and help you refocus with one small next step. You’ll be guided through gentle breathing (with an optional 4–7–8 pattern) plus grounding through the feet to support calm and confidence. Listen in the morning before work, before a meeting, as a lunchtime reset, mid-afternoon when focus drops, or anytime you feel overloaded and stuck. Short, practical, and supportive — come back whenever you need to steady your mind and begin again.

Welcome to this ADHD work stress.

Three minutes to refocus.

Work stress and ADHD overwhelm can make your mind feel like it has 30 tabs open at once.

And this short meditation is designed to calm your nervous system and soften the pressure.

I'll guide you through a very short 4-7-8 practice to help you calm and feel more grounded.

Allow your eyes to close and take a deep breath in through your nose and a slow breath out.

And once more in and out.

Let's do 4-7-8 breath together.

In for 4,

Hold for 7 and out for 8.

There should never be any strain.

If there is,

Adjust accordingly.

In for 8,

Breathing in,

Hold and out.

In,

Hold and out.

Feel your feet connecting to the ground beneath you.

You are safe here.

And if thoughts are popping up like notifications on a phone,

You don't have to open them.

Take a deep breath in and out.

And now bring to mind the task you've been avoiding.

Not the whole mountain,

Just the first step.

And mentally repeat,

I can do this.

I am making progress.

I am capable.

Take one more slow breath in,

And as you breathe out,

Slowly opening the eyes.

Choose one small action.

One minute is enough.

You've got this.

My name is Sandhya.

Thank you for listening.

So encouraging! I do have multiple tabs open on my computer! Love the notification analogy— too funny 😂 Many thanks Sandhya
