If you're struggling with ADHD procrastination and you can't get started,
This gentle 10-minute meditation helps you take the first small step without pressure or overwhelm.
I invite you now to find a position of comfort and ease.
To allow your eyes to close or your gaze to soften.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
And eight through the May.
Again,
Breathing it.
And breathing out with a soft sigh.
Once more,
Ed.
And sighing out.
Acknowledging that you're here.
That you press play on this track.
And that is already a step forward.
You are not lazy.
You are not a failure.
Your ADHD brain may simply need a little extra support.
Think of this track as a body double for your nervous system where we will work together Now I'd like to invite you.
To move the body.
And pick one small task,
Something that feels safe enough and doable for the version of you who is here right now.
It might be.
Replying to one message.
Opening your laptop.
Or getting up to put one plate in the sink.
If your task requires getting up.
I invite you to stand up now.
And if it feels hard,
Know that that's okay.
One small step is enough.
This one task is opening a door.
You don't have to tidy the whole house or finish the whole project.
Or become a completely different person today.
You're opening the door.
To begin.
Starting making your way to the activity that you have chosen.
Remember you don't need to finish,
You only need to begin.
Releasing any pressure to do it perfectly.
And maybe say to yourself,
Starting is enough,
Just for now.
Starting is enough.
For now.
So let's take one action together.
Maybe it's picking up an item.
Writing one word.
Or walking toward the thing you've been avoiding.
I am right here with you.
You are alive to go at your own pace.
One small action is still progress.
If you've not already started.
I invite you to begin that once more action now.
I'm going to leave you with the music for the next five minutes.
You you Well done,
We're at the end of our five minutes now.
How do you feel now?
How did this track work for you?
If it did,
Do check out my other Get Stuff Done tracks and let me know if a longer track of this would be beneficial for you.
Have a wonderful day.
