Hi there,
My darling this meditation focuses on the bubbles that reside within us.
At times we experience an overwhelming amount of fizz as if we might burst.
While other times we are left feeling deflated by the absence of such fizz.
The purpose of this meditation is to observe these bubbles,
Envisioning them playfully drifting about in the atmosphere of our own being.
Find the most suitable position for yourself and relax.
Allow your gaze to soften or close your eyes.
Inviting gestures are there to open your hands,
Palms facing upwards,
Ready to receive this moment without any restrictions.
Just be present.
Let your body scan the sensations and observe how you feel.
Notice where your thoughts wander as stillness settles in.
You might feel a surge of energy or find your mind engaging in conversation you've been trying to avoid.
What is bubbling up for you,
My darling?
Approach these emotions with compassion and grace.
Once the bubbles start rising up like a soda that was shaken,
Take a moment to inhale deeply.
Before we untwist the cap and let the air escape,
Remind yourself,
It's not an explosive sensation,
Rather a metaphorical release of pressure.
Exhale and sigh it out.
If you can imagine a champagne bottle overflowing with joyous bubbles after being in court,
It's like a celebration where you feel lighter,
Shedding the burdens that have accumulated.
Let's take in another deep breath and sigh it out.
Come back to you.
Are you observing your bubbles?
What do you see inside them?
Do you see pictures?
Colors?
Words?
Maybe nothing at all.
Keep in mind that there are no incorrect answers since this is your own perception.
Can you extend your hand out and physically feel them?
Make room for this present moment.
And if you'd like,
Take another inhale in and exhale out.
And if it feels comfortable to you,
Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart.
Simply be aware and remain in the present moment.
Observe the bubbles as they emerge and glide away from you,
Floating up into the sky.
Release them.
Let them go.
And release them.
Take one last deep breath in.
Take note of any shift that you sense.
Embrace the difference.
Now observe the contrast between yourself and your day as you gradually open your eyes and absorb the transformation.
My message to you,
My darling,
Is love who you are,
The darling parts of yourself and the not-so-darling parts of yourself.
And keep in mind that no emotion lasts forever,
Sending you lots of love.
