Welcome my friend to this quiet moment of reflection.
I'm Jocelyn and this is one of many invitations to return to your voice,
Your truth,
Your creativity.
So let's begin.
Let's start with simply shaking out your body for a minute.
Shake your hands,
Just gentle shakes,
Gentle wiggles of your hands,
Your fingers,
Your wrists,
Your elbows,
Your arms,
Your shoulders.
Gently allow your shoulders to release through a gentle shake.
Let your head gently move around your shoulders.
Maybe wiggle around your hips a bit,
All the way down your legs,
Just getting out any energy that's stuck right now in your body.
It may be that you feel a stretch in you.
Go ahead and take that stretch.
Take that stretch.
It feels so good to answer when your body brings to you a request.
And let's just take a deep breath,
Inhaling through your nose and sighing it out,
Letting go of anything that came before this moment and anything that comes after.
One more time,
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth.
Ah.
Sometimes the things that we never say are the ones that echo the loudest.
So today's prompt is to write a letter that you won't send to someone you love,
Someone you lost,
Someone you never quite got to be.
You might even write it to your younger self or your older self.
Say what you didn't say or what you wish you could say now.
This letter is for your healing,
Not the hearing.
And there's no wrong way to do this.
You're going to let the words just come out,
No judgment,
Letting them spill,
Be scribbled or whispered onto the page,
And just letting them flow.
Let your truth land softly,
Like a message in a bottle,
Just for the sea.
Again,
The prompt is write a letter you won't send to someone you love,
Someone you lost,
Someone you never quite got to be.
Maybe a younger version of yourself or older version of yourself.
It's your choice.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Ah,
Put your pen on the page,
My friend.
