This is an exploration of an environment and using that muscle of creativity and curiosity.
So just take a moment wherever you are to just begin to scan with your awareness the edges of your body,
Noticing all of the spaces around your body,
Bringing some awareness to your top of your head,
All the way down to the soles of your feet,
Just setting the intention to open all of the energy centers,
Opening the root center,
The sacral center,
The solar plexus center,
The heart center,
The throat center,
The mind's eye center,
The top of the head center,
Opening up the smaller chakras in the palms of the hands and the bottoms of the feet,
Breathing in through the nose,
And as we open our mouth and exhale sending our energy outward to surround ourselves with our own beautiful energy.
And we'll just take three deep breaths,
Inhaling,
Opening the mouth and sighing out,
Inhaling through the nose,
Opening the mouth and sighing out,
Inhaling one last time,
Opening the mouth and sighing out.
And closing down your eyes,
Might you picture yourself at the ocean's edge,
Might you feel the energy of the ocean at your front,
Your feet in the sand or on the rocks beneath you,
Bringing some awareness to the muscles of the eyes as we look out over the horizon beyond the sea,
Taking into your mind's eye the depth and the distance in front of you.
Might you simply look out and notice the colors,
Notice the gentle shift of blues and greens,
Yellows,
Oranges.
Might you notice the soft lines of a horizon and what color they are,
The colors of clouds if there are any.
Might you notice the colors at your feet,
Whether you're on sand or pebbles or rocks,
Maybe there's shells.
And bringing your awareness here in this space to your feet,
Can you feel what it feels like to stand at the edge of this ocean?
What is the temperature of the sand,
Pebbles,
Or the shells or the rocks?
What you are standing on,
Is it wet,
Dry,
Or somewhere in between?
Notice to the left of you the colors.
Notice to the right of you the colors.
Notice if there are any kind of vegetation or maybe even houses.
Look in the sky and see if there are any birds.
Are there friends in the ocean?
And might you for a minute just place your awareness and your attention on the sea.
Can you see into the depths of the water?
Or is it a rough ocean?
Are there many waves and agitation or is it calm and peaceful?
Are there rocks?
Do you see life out at sea?
Is there a boat or an island?
Can you smell the sea from where you are?
Can you feel the mist from the sea?
Is the sea meeting your feet?
Do you feel the temperature of the sea if it is?
What can you see in this beautiful ocean?
And might you take a moment to open your ears in this place.
Is the sea roaring or is it a silent hum?
Can you hear the wind?
Can you hear the call of seagulls or another kind of bird?
Do you hear the sound of children at play next to you?
What do you hear here?
What sounds can you listen to?
Are they rhythmic and low?
Or are they erratic?
Can you place your hands down on the ground and have a seat?
Can you have a seat here at the edge of the ocean,
Letting your hands touch the ground beneath you?
What does it feel like to your fingertips?
And as you sit here,
Can you open your heart?
Can you see how it makes you feel?
Can you feel into this space?
Can you allow your heart to open to this space?
Can you feel the history here?
The ancient-ness of this place?
Can you feel where you are ancient and newly born at every wave that comes up?
Can you hear the whispers in the wind?
Can you feel how sacred this space is?
Notice and live in the details.
Find a detail and get curious and follow it wherever it takes you.
I'm going to be quiet for a few minutes while you go on your journey here in this space.
Follow what your mind finds to be curious.
Everything here has meaning.
Every piece of cloud,
Sky,
Sea,
Sand,
And rock is here for a reason,
And you can come here at any time to explore.
To strengthen your muscle of creativity and curiosity,
It is safe to explore here.
Knowing that you can come back at any time to hear the stories of this place,
To document the meaning in your life here,
You can come back at any time.
And with that,
Please inhale through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing it out,
Saying goodbye to this place for now,
And yet it lives inside of you.
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing out.
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and giving a little voice to this exhale.
Exhale.
You can open your eyes whenever you're ready.
Thank you for coming with me on this journey of this environment,
The sea,
The ocean.
And know that all of this is yours.
I am only offering suggestions.
And everything you find in these environments has meaning for you.
It is how you see it,
How you feel it,
How you smell it,
How you taste it,
What memories it brings up.
These are the places that we can always go to the well of.
So,
I hope to see you in the next one.
Namaste.
