Welcome.
If you are doing this tapping in bed or just before sleep,
That is exactly the right place for it.
This script is specifically for the feeling that arrives at night when the day stops being busy enough to drown it out.
The low hum of not enough.
The worry about money,
About the future,
About whether things will work out.
We're going to tap through that feeling tonight.
Not to solve it and not to answer it,
But to give your nervous system permission to set it down,
Just for tonight,
And let your body do the work it does best in the dark.
So if this is your first time tapping,
Don't worry,
You can't get this wrong.
I will lead you through each of the places so you don't need to try and remember what order to tap in.
You can use either hand and just use your fingertips to tap five to seven times or more if you want in roughly the right area and that will be just fine.
So to begin with,
Notice what is present in your body right now.
Is there any tightness in the chest?
Any restlessness?
Maybe a loop of thoughts about money or the future or what you haven't yet figured out.
Find the most activated feeling and give it a number from zero to ten.
Where zero would be completely neutral and calm and ten would be really high anxiety and activation.
The first number that comes up is usually the right one,
So just notice,
No judgment.
In round one,
We're going to acknowledge the nighttime worry.
So we're going to begin with a setup statement by tapping on the karate chop point on the side of your hand.
And for each of these affirmations,
You can repeat after me out loud or in your head or you can simply let my voice carry the energy for you.
So,
Even though the worry comes alive at night,
Even though my mind runs through everything,
I completely love and accept myself.
Even though I'm uncertain,
Things are unresolved,
I completely love and accept myself.
Even though the nighttime worry makes me feel that things aren't enough,
I completely and truly love and accept myself.
Begin to tap on your inner eyebrow point.
All this worry about the future.
The side of your eye.
It gets louder when everything goes quiet.
Underneath your eye,
All the scarcity thoughts.
Underneath your nose,
The mental arithmetic that never quite adds up.
Tap on your chin.
The feeling that I should be further along by now.
Tap on your collarbone.
I am so tired of this loop.
Tap under your arm.
My body is exhausted,
But my mind will not stop.
And tap the top of your head.
I am acknowledging all of this honestly.
Come back to your karate chop point for round two.
I'm going to release the night shift,
So tap that side of your hand.
And repeat after me.
Even though part of me believes that if I stop worrying,
Something will go wrong,
I completely love and accept myself.
Even though I understand that worrying is not solving anything,
I completely love and accept myself.
Even though I know worry just costs me my rest,
I completely love and accept myself.
And now come to your inner eyebrow again.
The worrying has felt like control.
The side of your eye.
Like if I stay vigilant enough,
I can manage the outcome.
Underneath your eye.
But the vigilance is exhausting.
Underneath your nose.
And it is not actually keeping me safe.
Tap on your chin.
The outcome will be what it will be whether I sleep or not.
On your collarbone.
I am allowed to let this go tonight.
Tap under your arm.
Not forever,
Just for tonight.
And tap the top of your head.
Just until morning.
Just this once.
And now come back to your eyebrow point for round three.
We're going to trust the overnight process.
My subconscious mind never sleeps.
The side of your eye.
It is working on my behalf right now.
Underneath your eye.
Every night is a chance to release and reset.
Underneath your nose.
I do not manifest by gripping,
But by opening.
Underneath your nose.
Sleep is an act of trust.
Tap on your chin.
Trust is the energy abundance flows towards.
On your collarbone.
I am choosing trust tonight.
Tap under your arm.
I am choosing rest and I am choosing to receive.
And now come back to your karate chop point again.
For our last round,
Round four.
Where we accept that abundance can flow while we sleep.
So on the side of your hand.
I give myself permission to sleep well and deeply tonight.
I release all that is unresolved into the capable hands of something larger than my thinking mind.
Abundance is at work in my life,
Even now.
And I come back to your eyebrow.
I am safe tonight.
The side of your eye.
Everything I need is finding its way to me.
Underneath your eye.
I release the need to figure it all out.
Under your nose.
I trust the overnight process.
Tap on your chin.
My body is a vessel for abundance.
Tap your collarbone.
And right now,
It's a vessel for deep healing rest.
Tap under your arm.
I lay it all down now.
And tap the top of your head.
Tomorrow,
I wake open,
Renewed,
And ready to receive.
And now take one long,
Slow breath.
And let it fill your chest,
And then release it completely.
And put your hands over your heart.
And let all the work that you've put into your body and your nervous system just settle in physically to your energy now.
And now ask yourself the same question,
But you're not asking it to yourself.
You asked at the beginning.
Remember the number that came to you,
And notice where your number is now.
And if it's moved,
That's wonderful.
The nervous system is doing its work.
And if it's the same,
That's okay too.
This is a process.
And remember,
You don't need to solve anything tonight.
The tapping has done its work.
And now it's time to let your body take over.
And let sleep come.
