During this walking meditation, we begin with a focused awareness of the sensation in the feet as they move across the earth with every step. Gradually throughout the practice, we will transition to open awareness with the opportunity to move back and forth between open and focused awareness as often as you need. You will need a space that allows you to take 10-15 paces in one direction before turning around and returning to your starting point for this practice.
