Hello and welcome.
My name is Bailey and I am a nurse practitioner turned Reiki master teacher and sound healer and I create distance Reiki healing sessions along with my sound healing frequency music to help people who are struggling with stress,
Anxiety,
Or overwhelm or who are perhaps on a healing journey.
In our session today I'm going to be guiding you through a yoga nidra as well as sending you a full body distance Reiki healing session and this session is perfect for anyone who is struggling with stress or anxiety and is looking for some relief or relaxation perhaps in the middle of their day or at the end of their day.
So I invite you to go ahead and find a comfortable place to relax and receive this session.
Ideally your bed or your sofa,
Somewhere where you can fully relax and receive.
So just take a few moments to get yourself settled and once you're ready I invite you to focus on your breath,
Inhaling deeply into your lungs and gently exhaling all of the air out.
Inhaling deeply into your lungs and gently exhaling it all the way out,
Letting your breath guide you into this practice and just continuing that for a little while to let yourself settle and if you haven't already done so I invite you to gently close down your eyes and bring your awareness inward and I'm going to begin sending you distance Reiki now and I just invite you to follow along.
There's nothing that you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be.
This is your time to relax and to receive.
Let your body feel held by the surface beneath you.
This is your time to rest.
Let the outside world fade as you turn inward and begin to feel the natural rhythm of your breath.
There's nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
Simply allow yourself to arrive here in this moment.
With each exhale feel the weight of the day begin to melt from your body.
This is your time for deep rest and nervous system repair.
I invite you to let yourself be held.
Now we'll begin a journey of awareness through your body.
There's no need to move,
Simply notice.
Bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
Feel your attention rest there gently.
Now move your awareness to the inside of your mouth,
Your throat,
The back of your neck,
Your shoulders.
Allow the shoulders to soften down away from your ears.
Feel into your right arm,
Right elbow,
Wrist,
Each finger of your right hand.
Now the left arm,
Wrist.
Each finger of the left hand.
Bring your attention to the center of your chest.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath there.
Now move your awareness to your belly,
Allowing it to soften.
Let your breath be slow and easy.
Sense into your right hip and all the toes on your right foot.
And now the left hip and all the toes on your left foot.
Feel your whole body as one.
Completely still.
Completely at ease.
You are safe and held here.
Now shift your attention to your breath.
Feel the natural inhale and exhale.
Flowing like a gentle wave.
No need to change anything.
Just notice the coolness as you breathe in and the warmth as you breathe out.
Allow the breath to become a soothing anchor.
Each exhale guiding you deeper into stillness.
If thoughts arise,
Let them drift past like clouds in the sky.
Gently returning to the breath.
Inhale.
In this space of stillness,
You may choose to plant a quiet intention.
A simple phrase or affirmation.
Something like,
I am safe.
I am at peace.
Let your affirmation settle into your heart.
Like a seed planted in the soft earth.
Feeling this affirmation radiate out from your heart space through your whole body.
You can start to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Inhaling deeply into your lungs and gently exhaling.
Letting your breath guide you back out of our session.
Taking your time.
There's no rush.
When you feel ready to move,
Perhaps starting with some tiny movements.
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
And then maybe moving on to some bigger movements.
Rolling your wrists and ankles.
Just moving gently and slowly as your body,
Mind,
And spirit wakes up from this practice today.
