And welcome to the session.
I invite you to take a seat.
Or lie down.
And get yourself comfortable.
You can close down the eyes if you wish.
Just begin by taking some slow,
Deep breaths.
In through the nose.
Taking a moment to scan the body and the mind space.
And releasing any surface level tensions and thoughts that may be present I'm going to begin by placing your hand upon the heart space.
And feeling the warmth of her hand upon our skin I like to picture this space as a glowing ball of energy or flame.
Or a light.
Grow stronger and brighter.
With the breath.
This space will be our anchor or our home base for this session.
If you find yourself lost or wandering.
Return back to the hand upon the heart space.
Back to the breath,
Back to the visualisation and when you're settled.
Return.
Return to the part that we'll be working with.
And use the word heart space.
Or the self.
Or intuition.
Part that's connected to the divine.
Wise mind.
Our highest self.
Many words for.
This space inside of us.
The inapparent.
It is from this space that we can heal that we can reconnect and reintegrate with lost parts.
Today we'll be practicing intuitive guidance.
Inviting a part of our past.
Part of ourself.
Part of our personality.
Into the session.
Part of us that's been holding on to things for quite some time.
It's been keeping us safe.
Behold that the body keeps the score.
As you call this path,
Path Forward.
Find where it's located in the body.
Perhaps place your other hand upon it.
And really feel the sensations that are arising there deeply Can you trace a line around the edges?
Of these sensations.
Lay on the surface.
Or are they deeper?
Now the edge is rigid.
Who pours.
Do they feel hot or cold?
Their movement.
For the next minute.
From the self,
From the heart space.
Really feeling the sensations in the part that you were working with deeply.
Without judgment.
Approaching and accepting it all with compassionate curiosity.
Calm confidence.
Feeling deeply.
And also opening up your mind space to this part.
Or colour.
Does it represent?
What symbols?
What memories.
Thoughts,
And feelings.
Once again grounded in the heart space,
In the self.
Feeling the warmth of the hands upon your skin.
Using that as an anchor.
Opening up your senses to this part of the body feeling what's arising.
Both in the body and in the mind and just witnessing it Just listening.
You could visualise a line of connection a line of light.
Of love.
Connecting the self of the heart space to this part of the body never so gently and subtly.
But persistently.
With the breath.
You touch upon it.
Pause for a moment.
And then return.
Almost like wear.
Ever so delicately.
Brushing away the sand from an archaeological dig gently subtly.
But persistently.
We are not going in fast.
Or big or hard with shovels.
What an ex-convict.
But we are consistent and persistent.
This part of the body has been holding on to things for years.
Perhaps decades.
So we gently offer love or for trust.
With the breath.
And then return.
The breath and return.
We can get curious.
And begin asking this part of us,
Part of our past.
Questions.
Trying to gently understand what it's doing for us.
How it's keeping us safe.
And what it would prefer to be doing.
Can ask it what it needs you to know.
Or to see.
To feel.
To understand.
You can ask it if it's holding on to anything.
Or if it has a secret it would like you to know about.
To share with you.
You may get a vision of a locked door or a box.
Or a cave.
You could choose with.
Consent and permission with this part.
To open that door.
To see what's inside.
Or it might be enough just to know that there's something there.
Reintegration and reconnection in this way takes time and takes trust deep inner and outer work.
Part needs to know that if it does share.
If it does open up.
That we.
The self,
The system.
Can handle.
Hold space for.
Can continue.
Without breaking down.
Until this part feels safe and trusting in that process it won't release understandably.
So we sin.
We sit with an attitude of compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
Okay,
Curious.
We feel the sensations in the body deeply most grounded in the heart space of the self.
Explore the aspects of the mind that are opening up moods,
Memories,
Thoughts,
Visions.
Metaphors.
Symbols.
No judgment.
Just curiosity.
May ask gentle probing questions.
To find out more.
Gentleness and the subtlety of the breath.
The persistence of the breath.
Let's sit with the part we're working with.
Offering love trust,
Connection.
And just feeling what arises.
I want to remind you that this is an intuitive process if you feel compelled to ask questions to,
Offer to.
Connect to this part in whatever way you feel called to do so.
This is you,
At your core,
Reconnecting and healing So I encourage you to explore.
And trust.
And if at any time you feel the urge to release to laugh,
To cry,
To scream,
To sleep,
To shake,
To share.
So let's sit in connection with our palms for 10 minutes.
Approaching and accepting everything that arises.
Compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
You you Okay.
So if you'd like to maintain the meditation,
You're more than welcome to do so.
With everyone else just gently returning.
Back to their body.
To the session.
To their day.
When we're practicing intuitive guidance.
Deep parts work.
It's important to finish the session with a commitment to return.
Parts we're connecting with have been holding onto things for years or decades.
Believing themselves to Be in charge.
Absolutely vital for the safety.
Of the system.
Doing things to keep us safe.
Certain behaviours.
Certain responses.
And this approach worked.
It will keep you safe.
Or at least alive.
But maybe those responses are no longer necessary.
Maybe now that we are taking the time to check back in to reconnect.
Witness from the heart space,
From the self.
This part can release and to let go.
But it will take time.
Time for that part to trust.
To know that if it does let its guard down.
We've got it.
So we end with the commitment to return.
Letting it know that this is not a once and done kind of thing.
But as we come back again and again and again.
That we are here.
Here with the breath.
The subtlety and the delicacy.
But the persistence of.
So with that said.
.
.
Thank you for joining me.
I'll see you in the next session
