Keep your eyes closed.
Start by observing the breath.
As you breathe in,
Feel the ribcage expand.
Feel the air enter into the lungs.
As you breathe out.
Feel the contraction of the ribcage.
Feel the breath leaving.
Feel how the breath.
.
.
Is bringing you into the present moment in time.
The more you focus on the breathing.
The more the mind becomes still.
You start to observe thoughts.
Enter.
And leave the mind.
Without reacting,
Simply observing the thoughts.
Watch the thoughts come.
Watch their thoughts go.
You observe how some of the thoughts relate to the future.
Future that's not yet happened.
A future created by the imagination.
Sometimes those thoughts carry with them fears,
Sometimes desires.
But they take you away from the present moment.
Breath anchors you.
Brings you back.
And you just observe.
Watch the thoughts.
Without reacting.
Just seeing them coming and going.
Serving now.
Thoughts,
Just as waves.
They come,
They go.
Sometimes I relate to the past.
Sometimes carrying with them a feeling of sadness.
But you just observe these thoughts.
You see how the memories change.
Recording.
To your current likes and dislikes.
Observe how your thoughts Your dreams change.
According to your likes and dislikes You see how these thoughts have no permanence?
They're just waves.
They come and go.
But the breath becomes your anchor.
You continue observing each in-breath.
You continue observing each out-breath.
The thoughts are just distractions.
You watch them.
Observe how they have no permanence.
They come and go.
You just focus the mind on the breathing coming more and more into the present moment.
Breath guides you.
To the here.
.
.
And now?
You observe the mind.
Without reacting to it.
You observe how thoughts come.
Thoughts go.
Deep voice inside you.
Reminds you.
The only thing that's ever real.
Is this present moment in time.
Your breath.
Will always be your anchor.
To bring you back.
Into the present moment.
Continue observing,
Watching.
Thoughts come,
Let's go.
Breath acts as your anchor Come back to the breath.
Observing the breath entering.
Leaving at the nostrils.
Focus back on the present moment in time.
Serving the breathy.
Me back to yourself.
Keeping your awareness in the present moment.
Turning back to the breath.
Slowly,
Slowly Open your eyes.
Slowly become aware of the surroundings.
Keep your awareness focused.
The present moment.
Using the breath as your anchor.
More and more aware of your surroundings.
But keep that connection.
To the breath.
To the present moment.
