Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian.
Find your comfortable space,
Your spot.
You can either be sitting down,
Maybe on a chair,
On the floor,
On a meditation cushion,
Or you can lay down on your back.
Don't overthink it.
If you can breathe,
You can meditate and I'm sure you're breathing right now.
Just allow yourself to settle.
And allow the eyes to close.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale,
Sigh it out.
Again,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Now just your natural breath here,
In and out,
In through the nose and out through the nose.
It's just your natural breath.
Just giving yourself this time and giving yourself permission to relax.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
Allowing yourself to arrive to the space.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to control.
Body's starting to relax.
And noticing your breath smoothing out.
Feeling the body flooded with relaxation here.
Whole body relaxes.
I want you to picture a tow truck.
Any tow truck that comes to your mind.
This tow truck is pulling several things.
It's pulling all your worries and anxieties.
Asking yourself,
What is heavy on my mind right now?
What is causing me anxiety right now?
What is stressing me out right now?
And with this tow truck you're pulling all your stresses,
All your worries by each cable,
Each stress,
Each anxiety,
Each frustration has its own cable attached to the tow truck.
I want you to see the tow truck.
I want you to see the tow truck pulling these cables,
Pulling these worries,
These frustrations,
These anxieties.
I want you to visualize it.
I want you to see it.
I want you to feel it.
Feel this heaviness.
Feel the tow truck pulling,
Tow truck trying.
I want you to imagine the biggest scissors that you have,
Biggest scissors possible.
See these scissors,
Look at these scissors,
Notice how big they are,
The shape,
The weight,
How they feel in your hands.
I want you to take those scissors.
I want you to cut every single anxiety,
Every single worry,
Every single frustration from your tow truck here.
Cut every single tie,
Every single chain,
Every single rope that is tied to your tow truck.
Notice how it's making you feel.
As you cut each chain,
Whole body relaxes even more.
Feel this lightness in the body.
Keep cutting those chains,
Ropes on the tow truck.
Once you're done,
Notice that feeling in the body.
Notice that stress relief.
Notice that freedom.
Notice the engine in the tow truck smoothing out,
Not working so hard,
Going with the flow.
Taking an inhale deeply through the nose,
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Open the mouth,
Sigh it out.
Again,
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Soaking up these good vibes,
This good feeling,
This lightness,
This space,
The stress relief.
Allowing the eyes to open wherever you're at.
Wiggling the fingers,
Wiggling the toes.
Then making your way to an easy C,
Your legs cross,
Spine straight,
Chin slightly tucked.
The hands come to heart center.
