Welcome to this guided sleep meditation.
Find a place where you can fall asleep,
A place where you can be comfortable.
Once you find that place,
Softly,
Gently close your eyes.
And allow yourself to relax,
Allow yourself to arrive.
Allow yourself to be.
And all you have to do is listen to the sound of my voice and breathe.
Bring your awareness and attention to your breath.
Your full awareness and attention to your breath.
And allow yourself to sink deeper and relax.
Going deeper and relaxing more and more.
And as you listen to the sound of my voice,
You start to relax and sink deeper and deeper.
Noticing your inhale and your exhale.
Noticing your body relaxing and sinking deeper and deeper still.
Because you deserve to relax.
And allow your body to sink deeper and heavier each and every breath you take.
Sinking deeper and deeper still.
You can start to release all your tension,
All your stress,
All your cares,
All your worries.
Because you choose to relax.
You choose to go deeper.
Breathing deeply as you listen to the sound of my voice.
And the shape of the sounds.
You can relax even more and more.
Allowing the feeling of relaxation in your body.
And as you feel the relaxation in your body,
You sink deeper and deeper.
Whenever you focus your attention on my voice,
You relax even more and more.
Because you deserve to relax.
Whole body settles.
Whole body relaxes.
Ten times more.
Ten times more deeper and deeper and deeper still.
Take a scan of your body all the way from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
Scan the entire body all the way up and all the way down.
Allowing any tension to fade away.
Allowing all your tension to simply fade away.
Each and every breath you take.
Because you know you want to relax.
And as you relax,
You relax even more.
All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
All you have to do is simply and naturally listen to the sound of my voice.
And as you listen to my voice,
Your conscious mind starts to let go.
Your conscious mind starts to fade away.
Your conscious mind starts to surrender.
And as your conscious mind lets go,
Your unconscious mind will listen and hear everything it needs to hear.
So allow yourself to sink even deeper and deeper.
So heavy,
So relaxed that those tiny muscles in your eyelids are so heavy and so relaxed that they just won't open.
Those tiny muscles in your eyelids are so heavy and so relaxed that even if you tried to open them,
You just wouldn't be able to open them.
Whole body sinks deeper and deeper and deeper still.
There you go.
In just a moment,
Not yet,
But in just a moment,
I'll count down from five to one.
And when I reach one,
I wonder if you can imagine yourself walking on a path in the woods.
I wonder if you can use that great imagination of yours.
When I count from five to one,
You'll imagine yourself walking a path in the woods.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now imagine yourself walking on a path in the woods.
Notice this path,
Notice the trees,
Notice the smell,
Notice the sensations,
The air,
The wind on your skin.
Maybe there's tall,
Tall grass on the side of the path.
But imagine yourself walking down this path.
As you walk down this path,
You start to relax even more and more,
Deeper and deeper and deeper.
Walking down this path,
Feeling the sensations,
The air,
Seeing the trees,
Noticing your feet on the path.
As you walk down this path,
Sinking deeper and deeper and deeper still.
And as you walk down this path,
You notice you're walking towards a house.
It could be any size or shape house.
Walk towards this house,
Down this path,
And the house gets closer and closer and closer.
Walking down this path,
And once you arrive to this house,
Open the door.
And as you open the door,
You notice a long hallway with doors on each side.
And as you walk down this hallway,
Doors on each side,
Numbers on the door.
One of these doors,
You'll open.
And as you walk down this hallway,
Find the door to open.
And once you find that door,
Stand in front of the door,
Notice the door,
See what number is on the door.
And once you see that door,
Once you see the number on the door,
Open the door and walk in.
And you notice there's the most comfortable bed in this room.
And as you walk into this room,
Lay down on that most comfortable bed.
And as your body touches the bed,
You feel so,
So good.
You start to sink deeper and deeper and deeper into this most comfortable bed.
Whole body so comfortable in this most comfortable bed.
In just a moment,
Not yet,
In just a moment,
I'll count down from five to one.
And when I reach one,
I wonder if you can imagine yourself standing at the top of a stairway with ten steps going down.
When I count from five to one,
And when I reach one,
You'll imagine yourself at the top of ten steps going down.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now imagine yourself at the top of ten steps going down.
And when you take that first step in just a moment,
You'll start to sink deeper and relax even more.
Each step you take going down these ten steps will relax you even more and more.
These ten steps you take by the time you reach the last step,
You'll be peacefully,
Quietly asleep.
In just a moment,
You'll walk down these ten steps,
I'll guide you through it,
And all you have to do is listen to my voice.
And as you walk down these steps,
By the time you reach that last step,
You'll be peacefully,
Quietly asleep.
Now look down and take that first step.
And as you take that first step,
You notice your body is relaxing even more and more,
Ten times more relaxed as before.
Now take that ninth step,
Feeling relaxed,
Settling.
Eighth step,
So heavy,
So relaxed.
Seventh step,
Sixth step,
So relaxed,
So heavy.
Sinking deeper and deeper.
Fifth step,
Halfway there,
Halfway there,
By the time you reach one,
You'll be fully asleep.
Taking that fourth step,
Sinking deeper and deeper still.
Third step,
Whole body heavier and heavier.
Second step,
Second step,
So heavy,
So relaxed.
And knowing you have one more step,
So heavy,
So relaxed.
One more step,
Take that last step.
And naturally,
Falling asleep,
Surrendering,
Letting go.
Fully rested,
Fully relaxed,
Sinking deeper and deeper still.
