Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Brian.
Find your comfortable spot,
Your comfortable place.
Sitting on a chair or a meditation cushion or laying down on your back.
Any place is fine.
Just find a place where your body can be still.
And once you find your place,
Softly close your eyes.
And bring your awareness to your body,
To your breath.
This is a meditation for uncertain times.
It's gonna be okay.
Because you're breathing and your breath is your foundation.
Your breath is your anchor.
Your breath is your life.
So bring your awareness to your breath.
And noticing your inhale and your exhale.
Noticing the breath go in and go out.
Your whole life is your breath.
One breath at a time.
And nothing to do or control with your breath.
It's your natural breath.
So just breathe.
Invite your mind to the space.
Invite your mind to the body.
Invite your mind to the breath.
All you have to do is breathe.
And all you have to do is listen to the sound of my voice.
And you can start to relax.
You can surrender.
Because you're safe right here,
Right now.
And you're breathing.
So everything is okay.
Because you have your foundation.
You have your life.
You have your breath.
Nothing to do or control.
All you have to do is breathe.
And as you breathe,
You notice your body is starting to relax.
And you notice your mind is letting go.
Because your breath is your anchor.
And as you smooth out your breath,
You smooth out your body.
And as you smooth out your body,
You smooth out your mind.
And as you breathe,
You start to relax.
And you give up all the cares and control of your day.
Because right now,
All you have to do is breathe.
Because you know there's so many things you have no control over,
But you can control your breath.
Now let's take control of our breath here.
So exhale all the air out of your body.
Out through the mouth.
Close the mouth.
Inhale through the nose.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold the breath.
And exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold the breath.
Exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Again,
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold.
Exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Keep that steady breath going on your own.
I'll give you time.
Now let's take control of our breath.
And exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Coming back to your natural breath.
Nothing to do or control with your breath.
In and out.
Nice and smooth.
And notice how relaxed your body feels.
Because there's so many things you can't control in this world.
But you can control your breath.
And your breath is with you all the time.
And you can only control you.
And the mantra on the inhale.
I surrender.
And exhale to the universe.
Inhale.
I surrender.
Exhale to the universe.
Inhale.
I surrender.
Exhale to the universe.
Say this mantra to yourself,
Silently.
I'll give you some time.
I'll give you some time.
Now allow that mantra to fade away into space.
And you notice your body is so relaxed.
And your mind is so calm.
You feel this sense of peace.
This sense of knowing.
That you have this amazing gift.
You have your breath.
And you can use this tool throughout your day.
To bring you back to the present moment.
To bring you back to the things you have control over.
Which is yourself and your breath.
You can remain here as long as you like.
