Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian and it's time to relax.
It's time to let go because you're exactly where you need to be.
So when you're ready,
Find a place where you can be still.
You can do this seated or lying down on a chair meditation cushion.
Anywhere where you can relax,
You can be still.
And once you find that place,
Softly and gently close your eyes.
And just allow yourself to arrive.
Just allow yourself to let go.
And just allow yourself to relax.
Because during this meditation,
All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
And as you breathe and as you listen to the sound of my voice,
Your conscious mind can surrender.
Your conscious mind can let go.
And as your conscious mind lets go,
Your unconscious mind will listen and hear everything it needs to hear.
So just allow yourself to be as you breathe and as you listen to the sound of my voice.
And just notice your inhale and your exhale.
Be the witness and ask yourself,
How does my breath feel?
How does my breath feel?
Is your breath smooth or deep or shallow or choppy?
Be honest with yourself.
How does my breath feel?
Now start to take control of your breathing.
With your mouth closed,
Breathe in and out through your nose.
And find a steady,
Natural,
Intuitive breath for you.
And you soon start to realize you're relaxing even more and more.
You soon realize that your body and your breath is relaxing,
Is smooth,
As you breathe and as you listen to the sound of my voice.
Because you deserve to relax.
Yes,
You do.
And you deserve to surrender.
You deserve to let go.
Each and every breath you take,
Each and every breath you take,
You feel a wave of relaxation.
Relaxation all the way up from the crown of your head and all the way down to the tips of your toes.
All the way up to the crown of your head and all the way down to the tips of your toes.
Each and every breath you take,
You feel that wave of relaxation.
All the way up.
Relaxation all the way up.
Breathing deeply,
Smoothly.
As you breathe,
You relax.
As you relax,
You breathe.
Each and every breath you take floods the body with relaxation.
Now take a scan of your body.
Scan your entire body to find any tension in your body.
Scan your body all the way up and all the way.
Scan your body and locate,
Find,
Discover,
All those points in your body where you feel the tension.
All the way up and all the way down.
Where are you holding your tension?
And once you know exactly where you're holding that tension,
Send your breath to that tension and send your awareness to that tension.
And once you send your breath to that tension and once you send your awareness to that tension,
Your body knows exactly how to dissolve that tension,
To release that tension.
Send your breath and awareness to the tension.
And once you do,
Your body knows exactly how to release that tension.
Dissolving that tension.
Easing the tension.
Solving and dissolving that tension.
Each and every breath you take.
Sending your breath and awareness to the tension.
And you soon realize that tension is fading away.
One by one,
Each and every breath you take.
Relaxing more and more.
Relaxing deeper and deeper and deeper still.
And as you feel so relaxed and so steady,
Maybe say this affirmation to yourself silently.
And the affirmation is,
I will remain calm and steady.
I will remain calm and steady.
Say this affirmation over and over to yourself.
I'll give you some time.
Now,
Allow this affirmation to sink deep into your heart space like you're planting a seed,
Or you're downloading a computer program,
Or you're downloading an app on your phone.
This affirmation,
Plant it in your heart space.
I will remain calm and steady.
Plant it in your heart space.
Once you plant it in your heart space,
Just like a computer program,
Just like a seed,
It runs in the background,
Starts to grow all throughout your body.
And at any point during your day or night,
You can always come back to this affirmation when you need it.
I will and steady.
And you can remain here as long as you like,
Breathing,
Relaxing,
And saying this affirmation to yourself.
