Namaste.
Namaste.
And then letting them slide back down as a way to soften the body and arrive.
Turning the awareness inward,
Whether you're seated or laying down,
Noticing the posture of your body.
The places where it's touching,
Whatever surface your body is resting on.
Noticing the rise of the spine.
Reaching from your lower back all the way up to the crown of your head.
Tucking the chin ever so slightly to open the back of your neck,
If that's comfortable for you.
Softening the front of the body all the way from the forehead down to the face,
Chest,
And belly.
Making some space to breathe.
Just breathe and know you're breathing.
Welcoming your time into this practice.
If you're sitting in the company of others,
And if you're not in the company of others,
Just allowing yourself to settle into meeting this moment just as it is.
Just as you are.
And as we continue to settle into our practice today,
Notice if there's any intention that you have for your practice,
Perhaps remembering why you came today,
And what is it,
What is your motivation that brings you back to Sangha time after time?
Or is there something more specific about today,
This time,
This day?
Just see what comes up.
Observe what comes up.
Just see what comes up.
Returning to your breath.
Meeting it the way you are.
In this moment.
In this present moment.
Namaste.
