Welcome to your meditation.
Today we will explore a snowy winter wonderland together.
Let's start by sitting or laying down quietly.
Get all the wiggles out of your body.
Shake your arms,
Shake your head.
Feel your fingers and toes.
Now take a deep breath in and deep breath out.
Now let your body totally relax.
You can let your eyes feel heavy and finally close your eyes.
Imagine that you're about to step into a snow globe.
Take a deep breath in and step into your snow globe now.
Exhale and look around.
What do you see?
You might see some trees covered in snow.
You might see some polar bears walking around.
You might see a house with the fireplace on inside or even some reindeer.
Take three deep breaths as you continue to explore your snow globe.
If it's snowing in your snow globe,
What does it feel like to have the snowflakes falling on your head,
Falling into your hands?
Are your hands cold?
Are you wearing gloves or are you wearing a hat?
What are some new things that you're noticing?
Do you see a snowman?
Breathe in and breathe out.
What are your favorite parts of the snowman?
Is it the eyes?
Is it the nose?
Or is it the arms of the snowman?
As you keep walking,
You're feeling pretty cold.
You see your friend and they say,
Hey,
Let's go get some hot chocolate.
So you run inside,
Take off your coat and get some hot chocolate.
Feel your whole body relax as you drink your hot chocolate.
Let your shoulders relax,
Let your toes relax,
And let your whole face smile.
When you're done,
You decide it's time to head back out of your snow globe.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Put on your coat and walk all the way back through the snow just the way you came in.
Notice how it feels to walk through the snow.
And finally,
You're back in your room.
You can always visit your snow globe whenever you want and find new things to explore.
Take your last deep breath in.
Feel your belly rise and exhale.
Feel your belly fall.
You can open your eyes whenever you're ready.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
