Transcript

Welcome to this garden meditation.

So for this we're going to lie down or sit up cross-legged and we'll start by taking three deep breaths together.

Breathe in through your nose,

Big belly,

Big breath,

Exhale,

Breathe and fill all the way up,

Breathe out,

Big breath in,

Big breath out.

Close our eyes,

Close our mouth,

Breathe in and out through the nose and just imagine you're entering into a garden.

As you enter this garden look at all of the plants,

Flowers,

Trees around you.

How tall are the trees?

What color are the flowers?

What kinds of flowers do you see?

As you walk through the garden you're smelling all kinds of different things.

You smell the roses,

The lilies,

All the different plants.

You stop walking and you stop to smell one of the flowers and just as you get closer you notice there's a butterfly sitting on that flower.

It's a beautiful butterfly.

What color is this butterfly?

The butterfly flies away and you keep walking into this garden.

At the center of this garden is a big fountain.

You hear the water in the fountain.

As you go closer you can see the little coins people have dropped in this water fountain.

You keep walking into this garden further and further.

You stop to touch one of the trees in the garden.

You walk up to the trunk of the tree.

You put your hands on the tree.

What does it feel like?

What does the trunk of the tree feel like on your hands?

And you look up towards the sky.

You look way up.

The tree is super tall.

The tree is giving you shade.

It's keeping you cool.

And you decide to sit under this tree just for a minute.

You come to the ground.

You're sitting on the cool grass.

The grass is soft.

It feels so good.

And you're just sitting here looking around at the garden.

You feel so happy to be here.

You feel so happy looking at all the flowers,

The butterflies,

The trees,

The bees all around you.

And now you get up.

You say thank you to the tree.

And you start to make your way back out of the garden.

But before you leave you decide to take a flower with you.

You go up and you find a daisy.

You find a daisy that you really like in your favorite color.

And you pluck it off and you decide to take it with you as you're walking out of the garden with your daisy.

And finally you reach the beginning of the garden where you first started.

You turn around and take a look at everything and say thank you.

And then you walk out the door of the garden.

And you start to walk on your way back home.

Let's take three more breaths together.

Take a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Big breath in through your nose.

Last one in through your nose.

Big breath out.

Namaste.
