Welcome to this meditation to promote healing.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat,

Sitting in a chair on the ground or lying down on your back.

Let's start with three grounding breaths.

Take a big breath in through the nose,

Fill the belly,

Fill the lungs.

And exhale.

Two more deep breath in into the belly,

Into the lungs.

And exhale,

Let it go.

Deep breath in and out through the mouth.

And then keep that deep breath going,

But closing the mouth and breathing in and out through the nose.

Arrive in your body.

Notice the different sensations in your legs,

Your arms,

Your back,

Head and neck.

And just be aware of what you're observing without any judgment.

In this time,

It's normal to feel stress and tension anywhere in the body that we might be holding on to.

Notice where the stress or tension might be in your body.

Maybe in the hips,

The neck,

The shoulders.

Just take some deep breaths into this awareness,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Not trying to change anything,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Know that you are safe.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

In yoga and meditation,

There is the prana,

The energy,

The vital life energy that's within us and all around us.

Prana is a healing energy that we all have access to at all times.

And our power lies in uncovering this.

Peeling back the layers,

Peeling back the fear,

The anxiety,

The stress that sometimes clouds this energy from its true power,

Its true potential to heal.

As we quiet in our mind,

As we slow down our thoughts,

And as we relax our body,

We allow this prana,

This energy to awaken in our bodies and to heal us.

With every exhale,

Relax every muscle,

The big muscles,

The small muscles,

Every bone,

Every ligament in your body.

Allow it to relax.

I invite you to feel this prana washing over your whole body.

Feel it coming into your body as you breathe in and dispersing all over your body as you exhale.

Inhale,

Feel that vital life force,

That healing energy coming in.

Exhale,

Feel it traveling all over your body.

Once you start feeling the healing effects,

Stay with this breath,

Stay with this meditation.

Inhale,

Bringing it in,

Exhaling,

Taking the prana all over your body or wherever you need it most.

Come back to this meditation.

Listen to this meditation every day for when you need that extra healing.
