Welcome to your morning meditation.

You can do this meditation lying down in bed first thing or as you start your day.

To begin,

Let's take five deep breaths together,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Do more.

As we start our day,

Start our day with gratitude.

Bring to mind things that you're grateful for,

Your home or your apartment,

Your bed,

Any people that you might have around you.

The rays of the sun coming into the room or shining down on your face,

Taking in the fresh air of the morning.

Bring to mind all that you're grateful for,

This chance for a new day.

And on your next breath in,

Feel the possibility of starting fresh,

This blank slate that is your day.

A new beginning to create,

To fill with what you desire.

Rumi said,

There is a morning inside you waiting to burst open into light.

Take the intention for our day.

An intention is different than a goal.

An intention is the attitude and state of mind you want to have for the day.

For example,

An intention of love,

Tenderness or kindness for yourself and others.

That's your intention for today.

Feel it and see it playing out throughout your day.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

Expect miracles,

Expect greatness in your day,

Whatever that looks like for you.

In these challenging times,

Bring a couple things to mind that would bring you joy,

That would bring you miracles and greatness in your day.

And know that it is possible for you.

Remember your intention.

Let's breathe into that.

Take three breaths together and as you breathe,

See your intention playing out throughout your day and how you talk to yourself and how you talk to others and how you spend your time.

And at the end of these three breaths,

Find some stillness.

Find a place where your spine can be long,

Your body can be relaxed,

Your eyes can be open or closed.

Leaving behind any distractions from the previous day,

Any stressors or worries from the past.

Bringing your body,

Bringing your mind into the present moment,

Into the possibility and creativity of this new day.

It's your canvas.

And as you enjoy this stillness,

Feel your whole body filling up with this possibility,

Filling up with this light,

Knowing that you can create what you desire.

There is a morning inside you waiting to burst open into light.

And then one morning out of that moment,

There is aι‚„ζœ‰ that is happening.
